Jennifer nervously walked up the stairs to Mrs. Joy's apartment. She hadn't see her orphanage teacher in almost a year, since she had moved away to attend university. She was anxious to catch up and see how the woman was doing.

They talked thought text and decided to meet up that weekend, that's why during the week, she dealed with her work and school stuff earlier, to have all the time she needed to spend with her.

She couldn't believe that it's been so long since she had last see her. She had been her mentor through her childhood, and Jennifer had always felt there was an unspoken bond between them.

When she arrived, Mrs. Joy greeted her with a warm hug, and Jennifer immediately felt at home. The aspirant detective could hardly believe how much she had done in the past years. She was so busy, but still managed to see her.

Now, here they were, sitting in the woman's small but cozy apartment, having lunch together.
She really aged like fine wine, as she looked still In her early 20s.
Mrs Joy had cooked some of the home made food that Jennifer always mentioned wanting to try when she was a kid. 'I can't believe you remember about this' her ex student excitedly smiled at the view of the food.

'How could I forget? You always talked about wanting to try Soondubu-jjigae' She chuckled softly at the thought of it.

After the meal, they sat down for some tea, and started chatting, trying to catch up. Talking with her really lifted her mood.

'So tell me...do you have any young man in you heart?' The woman grinned happily, as she stared at the girl who was taken aback by the question. 'No, I don't. Focusing on my studies. I don't have time to date and never even thought about it' hearing the answer, she laughed and stared at her with a lively smile 'You don't know what tomorrow awaits for you.'

She went on to talk about her studies and her current work, which Mrs. Joy seemed more happy about.

'Do you have any problem with someone or the environment? We can talk about-' but she shook her head before she could finish 'I don't and if I did I could cope with it' Jennifer smiled trying to be convincing.

She had some inner struggle too, but didn't want to bother her too much. She already had some things to worry about as well, the last thing that Jennifer wanted, was for her to worry about her well-being.

'Love...I have a question. Do you go by Jennifer even in the working and school field?' She suddenly asked, looking a little worried and more serious. 'Yes I do. I love that name, and It feels more my own that the other.'

Without saying a word, the lady took her hands in hers and shook her head slightly. 'I know you like the name I gave you, but you should accept your real name too...you've grew up to be such a beautiful, strong and independent woman. Your name is unique and special, and it's part of who you are. Don't allow your past to drag you down' her eyes where sincere and it was obvious that she cared about her.

'I know, I still haven't changed it. In my documents it's still the same. I just-' She sighed 'Need some time to get used to my old name' she looked away from the woman, who then looked at her with tender eyes. 'I will be waiting for the day you will love your real self more then.'
With that said, they talked a little more, and soon it was already time to leave.

'Thank you for the hospitality, your time and the food Mrs. Joy.' She was out of the door, saying her goodbye. 'It's been too long since we last saw each other. Come and see me when you want, I will always make time for you' The finally said, as she wiped a tear from her eye. 'I'm so proud of all you've accomplished, never stop believing in yourself.'

Jennifer smiled, feeling a mixture of sadness and joy at the thought of leaving her beloved teacher. It was the first time some

'I'll miss you' She told Mrs. Joy, giving her a long hug. 'Me too. Now let's stop with all this sadness. Come and see me more often!' She flashed Jennifer a last smile 'I will.'

After saying goodbye to Mrs. Joy, Jennifer began to make her way home. The kind woman, lived in the city nearby hers, so she needed to take the bus, that would stop in the center of Busan city, from which she would be able to go home.

Her eyes went to the lylon bag she was holding. The teacher gave her some of the food she made, plus more that she didn't try, as they were already full, to store in her fridge.
Thinking at the time spent with Mr. Joy, she couldn't help but feel like she had just been given a sign. She felt a renewed sense of comfort knowing that the woman she saw as a mother, was still by her side, even if it was from a distance.

[....]

Jennifer sighed as the bus stopped in the center of the city. She got off and was heading home, when she remembered that she had run out off leafts and she needed some if she wanted to eat the next day, the kimchi Mrs. Joy gave her.
She changed direction, going toward the stores and supermarkets.

As she arrived at the market, it didn't take her long to find what she was looking for.

She opened her phone, to check her notes, as she always wrote something there when she was running out, to don't forget later on when running errands. Everything was done, but as she was leaving to go and pay, she heard some voices not too far from her.

Raising her head, she noticed a group of 4 guys in front of a shelf, laughing and talking. There were discussing about something that she didn't really understand as she was too focused on the familiar faces amoung them. It was Sunghoon, he was with Jay and some of his friends, that she have never met before. After checking the list for the last time, she hurriedly left before they could see her.

She had some homeworks to do, not to mention that she didn't want them to get the wrong idea of her, as she starred at them for a while, to be sure they weren't look alikes of the people she knew, and if they realized, she could have been labelled as weird or even a stalker. But not to her knowledge, the Ice Prince had already noticed her presence just by hearing her scent.

'Guys, I will be right back' he told his friends, before going after the girl, that after paying her things, was out of there. He thought she had gone far, but luckily, she was checking the bus timetable on her phone, a thing that slowed her down in walking.

'Jennfier...' she didn't notice the guy following her, and neither did she heard him calling her name.
'Jennjfer!' He stopped her by the wrist.

Startled, she turned around slightly, seeing him standing right in front of her.

'Sunghoon?'
