A quick Authors Note:
This was originally just 3 oneshot parts (which is kind of contradictory) but I ended up turning it into a whole story (this one) so if you come over this story in a oneshot book, it's probably just mine. The oneshot book is published (some of it) so if you want to and enjoy what I write, please check it out:)

Types of demons and their powers: (not that important, you can skip)

Lesser Demon:
They're a bit stronger and a bit faster than humans and have small horns, their iris are for the most part red

Greater Demon:
These have horns and small wings (that can't be used) they are faster and stronger than humans and have fangs, they heal a little bit faster than humans.

Superior Demon
These can control fire and are immune to heat, they're much stronger and faster than humans, they also heal faster than humans, they have horns, claws that have deadly poison, fangs, wings and a small tail that can't be controlled, they can fly though.

High Demon:
They have control over other demons that have to follow their lead, they can control fire and are immune to heat and cold, they're significantly stronger and faster than humans and heal almost immediately, and can shapeshift to look human (they can look like any human but can't change their demon form)
They have horns, claws (the claws can be poisonous if they want to and they can retract them)
Their iris is red and their sclera is black. They can use their wings to fly and the leather on the classic demon wings are impenetrable.
They also have black tails that can be used as a whip or just kind of as an extra limp.
Grian is one of these

There is also another type, the Powerful ones, they come after a High Demons true powers have been discovered, while all the other demons theme color is red, they have purple and pink.
