5: Baby Shower

serenity point of view

I was so excited about the baby shower. But always kind of nervous. I don't know If I should tell people that it's pac baby because I don't want to put him or myself in danger. Know i'm kinda regretting tell people I was having a baby just for his sake. 

Devante walked over towards me and he can read my face really well. "Whats wrong?" he lightly grab my hand. 

"Can we talk upstairs?" I ask him.

"Sure thing baby." Devante kiss my hand and lead me upstairs. 

We was walking to our bedroom and he close the door. "Whats on your mind? People are down stairs waiting on us." Devante said. 

"I kinda regret having a baby shower." I told him. 

"What... why?" Devante look confused. 

"Because I dont want anyone to keep on asking me baby questions and plus they dont know its not your baby.. I feel like it was a mistake to have one because I dont want anyone to harm me or  baby since its pac's baby if that make sense. I should had kept this on the DL so no one doesn't have to know but only a few people. I just dont want people looking at me differently you know." I explain too him.

"Wow, since you put it that way it does make sense just to protect the baby, because anyone would try to get hands on him. Well we can't go back now. Everyone Is down here for us to celebrate . So you will have to put on a brave face and go with the flow." Devante kiss my head we was walking back down stairs. 

"I'm sorry I put you thru so much shit lately." I told him. 

"Baby, we are good you dont have to worry about anything. Trust me." Devante kiss my lips and we walking outside where everyone was at. 

I was actually having a great time with de and our families. I wish it was different but we can't change the past. I just wish my dad was here and also Static he was still upset with me and we dont even talk anymore and it hurts that my brother is that upset with me. De told him about the baby shower today so I'm hoping and praying that he will show up. 

"Baby, are you okay?" My mom ask me. 

"Yes im okay, just little tired but I will be alright. I just wish dad was here." I wipe my tears. 

"I know sweetheart, but he is here right now I can feel him trust me he is never going to leave your side." My mom wipe my tears and kiss my head and pulled me into a nice hug. 

"Thanks mom, I love you so much."

"I love you too sweetheart, if you need anything just let me know you can talk too me about anything." My mom told me. 

"Okay momma, thank you." 

My mom smiled once more and walked over towards Devante . 

"Why the long face sis?" Static said I look up and gave him a smile and hug him but he didn't look like himself and he look like he been drinking.

"Are you drunk?" I ask him. 

"Nah." Static said but I can smell the Henry from here. 

"What are you doing here?" I ask him. 

I can tell he was about to real loud. "I AM HERE TO SUPPORT YOU AND PAC BABY SHOWER... THATS WHY I AM HERE....YOU WANT FOOL EVERYONE TO THINK ITS YOU AND DEVANTE KNOWING GOOOD DAMN WELL ITS YOU AND PAC'S BABY AND SINCE HE IS GONE YOU WANT DEVANTE TO PLAY DADDY..." static yelled out. 

Everyone look at me and I see the rest of Jodeci trying to get static outta here and calm him down and I just couldn't believe my own brother would do that too me he was that petty to tell my business out like that. I started to cry because everyone was looking at me up and down and I see my mom face was just confused.

"Yeah its true, I am having pac's baby and at this point I dont care on what you guys think you guys didn't know what was going on. Me and devante was having a rough time in our relationship since I miscarry our baby and devante have been distant and was never home. I felt alone at that moment in my life and the only person that was in my corner was Pac. He was always there to check up on me to make sure I was in good spirit and he was just a caring person. Yeah It was wrong but I couldn't change how I felt in that moment, I was feeling pac.  if you think I am a hoe or something then you can bounce  but that's the real truth." I said before going upstairs and locking the bathroom door. 

D. Swing point of view

Everyone couldn't believe what just happen just now. I think everyone was in shocked. But it was nothing to change that fact that static told everyone our business I know he is still upset but I think that was real low. Me and Justice was going to find Serenity and I know she lock herself in the bathroom. 

"Why didn't she tell me?" Her mom ask me. 

"I think because she was scared." I told her. 

"I wasn't going to judge her at all. She is my baby after all. I just wanted her to be honest because I knew she hiding something." My mom said. 

"Serenity are you okay?" I ask her she was in our bathroom

"Yeah sweetheart, we just want to know if you okay." Her mom said. 

"I will be okay, im just overwhelm that's all." Serenity finally spoke. 

"Well can you unlock the door so we can see you?" Her mom ask .

So we heard the door unlock and we both walk inside. She was on the floor just crying. 

"Look everything is going to be okay." Her mom said. 

"No its not mom, I didn't want anyone to know it was pac baby because I want to keep him safe." Serenity said. 

"I understand that baby. You can't be stressing you or the baby out. I know that was a mess but you guys will get thru it. Thanks Devante for sticking by my daughter's side." Her mom said. 

"No problem. I love your daughter very much, and Im sorry you had to hear about the cheating. I just couldn't figure out my feelings when she miscarry so I guess I wanted to numb the pain for a bit and hook up with some girl. I should of been there for her when she need me most and im sorry baby." I told her. 

"I already forgave you De, But thanks for that. I shouldn't have cheated either. Im sorry too." Serenity told me. 

"But we are working on us and we are in a really good place right now, so everyone will be alright." I explain to her mom. 

"I can see that. Well Im going to go back downstairs to see what's going on and you too stay up here and relax." Her mom gave me and serenity a hug and she was heading downstairs. 

We walk out of the bathroom and we was just sitting on the bed. 

"You going to be okay?" I ask her. 

"I hope so." Serenity said. 

"This was one crazy baby shower huh?" I chuckled 

Serenity giggled. "Yeah one for the books."
