Serenity
I was so nervous because this was going to be my first movie and I didn't know why they didn't pick Janet Jackson because I think she would've been perfect for this role. She did really good at her call back. I don't know if it was just something that came up or what. Maybe god wanted me to try something different when I got the role and I was cool with that.
Me and Devante have been busy trying to get our collaboration album done and it was going to be a surprise announcement for all the fans. We wanted 'Kiss it better' to be the first single and we are going to be shooting the video pretty soon whenever I had free time due to me having more of a booked schedule.
"Stop being nervous baby." Devante said as he kissed my lips. "You are going to do great."
"Thanks baby. I really needed this reassurance."
"And static said good luck too." Devante told me and I smiled. I haven't seen my brother in a hot minute and I miss him so much. He has just been busy, just like me.
"Miss. Serenity we are ready for you." I got up and Devante followed right behind me.
"Wassup Serenity, how you doing?" Tupac licked his lips.
"I'm going just fine, how are you doing?" I smiled and he gave me a side hug. He smell good so good.
"I'm doing good too, are you ready for the first scene?" Tupac asked me. "And wassup Devante swing."
"Wassup man." Devante gave him a brief handshake.
"Just living and shit, you know the drill. We need to hit the studio real soon. We gotta make some magic and shit." Tupac told Devante.
"Cool." Devante said as he walked towards the director since he was about to start rolling.
-
"Wow you did real good baby." Devante told me.
"Thanks baby" I smiled. "Wait where are you going?" I asked when I noticed him turn to walk away.
"I need to get to a meeting that started 5 minutes ago." Devante replied as he was grabbing his things.
"So are you going to come back after?" I asked him.
"Yes I will baby, I will let you know when I'm on the way back okay." Devante kissed my lips and gave me a hug.
"Okay baby, I'll see you later."
After 8 hours of shooting I was tired and Devante still wasn't back yet. I tried calling him and he still didn't answer the damn phone. I was so angry and I couldn't wait to give him a piece of my mind.
"You need a ride home?" Tupac asked me.
"Yes please, I'd appreciate that.. thank you." I smiled gratefully.
"No problem. So where is De at?" Tupac asked me.
"I really don't know, he told me that he had a meeting to go to but he promised me he was coming back." I told him.
"Well he is a busy man, maybe something came up." Tupac told me.
"Yeah, I guess so." I slightly agreed because I was extremely unsure.
"You wanna grab a bite to eat first?" Tupac asked me.
"Sure." I grabbed my belongings and I linked arms with Pac.
We stopped by sonic for a quick bite to eat and he park his car right in front. He opened my door and we headed inside the restaurant. We eat and just talked about random things. From what I could tell he was just an amazing man.
"Thanks for everything." I told him as he finally pulled up in front of my crib.
"No problem, I will see you tomorrow." Tupac said with a grin.
"Yes, of course." I gave him a hug and as I got out the car I heard him say 'Damn' under his breathe. I just shook my head and as I walked up the stairs I was grabbing my keys out my pocket. Once I unlocked the door and stepped inside I turned around and Tupac gave me the peace sign and before he drove off.
As I walked inside towards the living room I heard the T.V. on and I looked over seeing Devante was sleeping like a baby with his phone in his hand on the couch.
"Baby are you okay?" I sighed kissing his head forgetting what I was upset about earlier. He started to wake up out of his sleep and started rubbing his eyes.
"What time is it?" Devante said below a whisper.
"Its 9:30." I told him.
"I'm so sorry, after my meeting I fell asleep and I guess I was going to call you but I never got the chance too." Devante told me holding up his phone which showed him on my contact.
"Aw, its okay. Tupac was nice enough to take me home. I was worried at first." I told him.
"Everything is good, I've just been real tired." Devante said as he got up.
"I know baby." I kissed him once more making him smile.
