The day that Gojo proposed to me We decided to have a last minute engagement party with everyone at a local bar "Oh my god your ring is so pretty!" Shoko gasped "So Gojo really popped the question" Yaga asked

"I did, Y/n is the best thing to happen to me, and I really want to spend the rest of my life with her" Gojo smiled wrapping an arm around my waist.

While I was at the bar Mei Mei came over "Don't let that charm fool you y/n, Trust me you'll only get hurt" she says. "What do you mean, Satoru is a sweetheart..?" I asked

"Don't think that because he's charmed you with the "sweetheart" charm and because you have a ring make you think you're special to him. once he's bored he's just going to throw you to the side and move onto the next girl." She sighed taking a sip of her wine.

"Okay what are you saying this? Satoru and I have been together since we were 18, you know that."
"Because I was the girl he threw to the side and got bored with, and then he met you. And he will do the same, trust me. Y/n, as one woman to another I am trying to look out for you," she says and then walked away.

I was so confused, did Gojo date mei mei? Or at least hook up? so why the hell would he leave her? She's the sexiest woman on the planet...she has guys falling to their knees for her to even acknowledge them...

The rest of the night I was stuck thinking about the fact that Gojo and Mei mei had technically slept together...when did they sleep together?

"sweetheart, you good?" Gojo sat down beside me at the bar and pressed a kiss on my ring finger..

"Uh yeah...can we head home I think I've drank too much.." I asked
"Sure thing sweet girl," Gojo stood up and put his jacket over my shoulders followed by his arm "come on you little light weight" he teased.

We said goodbye to everyone and headed home. The walk home was quiet. I couldn't stop thinking about what Mei Mei said, there's no way Gojo would just throw me to the side and get bored... maybe she was just saying that out of jealousy that I was marrying him? It was no secret that she loved his money, she would go on about how she couldn't wait for the next pay check to roll In...

When Gojo and I got home I took myself upstairs and went to have a shower. usually I left the door unlocked since Gojo liked to come in with me but this time I locked it

When I was done in the shower I came out and found Gojo stood I front of the door with his arms crossed.

"Satoru watch out plea-" "you're man at me." He says "what?" "You're man at me. you only ever lock the door to shower if you're really mad at me." He stated

"Why are you mad? Did I do something wrong...whatever it was I'm sorry," he says "Can I ask you something, and I want you to promise to be completely honest with me" I asked

"Course baby anything, what's upset you?" He asked bringing me back to the bed so he could sat down and meet my height level.

"Was there anything...anything at all between you and Mei Mei in high school?" I asked He sighed and nodded, "we tried dating, about a month before we got together, But I came to realise she was just using me for sex, money and for popularity. So I broke it off. Why? What did she say to you?" He asked

"She told me you would get bored and throw me to the side, and then find another girl..." I say looking down.

"Y/n, love look at me, 10 years we have been together, we've had some pretty bad arguments and there have been some critical issues that almost destroyed us in those 10 years, but we fought hard and now we're engaged, I would Never. Get bored of you, and throw you to the side for some other girl, you are the only person to truly make me feel pure happiness since Geto...and I love you so much." Gojo says

"You mean that..." "every word of it baby, and I know you know that, because you know that I don't just throw the L word about for the fun of it," Gojo says making me sit on his knee.

"I know You didn't say it until the 1 year mark" "and I don't say it in front of anyone, those 3 words are for your ears only" he whispered before stealing a kiss. "Ignore Mei Mei, she doesn't know what she's talking about, I'm not leaving, I don't plan to, because like I said to Yaga and the others, you are the best thing to ever happen to me and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

I nodded before giving his another kiss and then a cuddle
