The team was getting ready to leave earlier on the sunday because they hadnt a case yet, when the director comes by with Gibbs.
- leaving already, agents? Not for a while. A cientist was found dead this morning on her appartment on the center of the City.
- and why did you decided to put us in? Shes not navy.- Gibbs said.
- lookslike had been a ritual of black magic, what makes it a case for us. Besides homicide declined and i lost a bet to poker with the FBI director who gave me this case insted of money. He said it was to "darker" for FBI. I hope ypu didnt take a snack yet. Because this case is going to turn over your stomach.

After they arrived to the scene.
- hey, agents. A neighbor saw an broken window and call the police. She thought it was an invasion. Lookslike the victim, Ingrid Stephenson, was a sacrifice on some cult ritual.- Sean said.
- and it was?- asked McGee.
- is more to a macabre ritual. The body is in the office with a stag's head hanging and a spear in the chest.- Sean said.
- what kind of cientist is she?- Gibbs asked.
- she makes researchs on the area of cancer treatment.- Sean answered.
- any parent?- asked Bishop.
- husband, Chester Stephenson, and a son, Dick Stephenson. He is on his way here and his son too. We let you know when they arrived.
- Ducky you can take the body as soon as Tony finishes sketching. As soon we search this place, the faster we figure it out what happen here.- Gibbs said to his team.
- this is the most bizarre murder i ever seen. Are you done, DiNozzo? - Ducky asked.

- Is going to take a while to finish the autopsy, Jethro. I call you when im done.- Ducky said and he and Jimmy left.
- there is a lot of weird stuff on the appartment. Masks, skins, weapons. Is there any connection with what happen.- Bishop said.
- and i thought that Tony's desk was a mess...- McGee commented.
- very funny McGee. The killer must have been looking for something. Im going to check the drawer.
- if this was a ritual, there are alot of tools for that.- Gibbs said.
DiNozzo was holding some papers that he found on the drawer.
- this papers show that the victim was working on a new research about the cure for cancer.
- the objetive of various pharmaceutical companies.- McGee said.
- maybe this was the motive. We should check her co-workers. Bartje Lafeber was mentioned on this work.- DiNozzo said.

- McGee, how did the killer get in?
- a broken window. Thats why the neighbor call the police. The window was broken from the outside. Probably the killer used his own hand. Whoever break it tried to enter from the door and fail it, so he invaded the house. Must have been an amateur.
- could had been a thieth. But i think its unliked. To reach this window, the guy must be more taller than the usual, right.- Gibbs said.
Sean enter the crime scene and told Gibbs that the husband was outside.
- Mr. Stephenson, we know that you are on shoke right now, but we need to ask you some questions. Where were you last night?
- home. I went to bed earlier and, when i got up, she was still sleeping.
- what time did you wake up?
- i..... dont remember. Earlier. And then i drove to work.

- i work sundays, okay. I have witness.
Gibbs went back to the office with Mcee.
- good that we are not the only ones working kn sundays. - McGee stated.
- we need the time of death to check his version.- Gibbs said.
- you know, Ingrid's job might have kill her. Im going to read her paper, see if there is anything that can help us.
Tony and Bishop arrived to the victims lab.
- special agent DiNozzo, special agent Bishop. We need to talk to Bartje Lefeber.

- your co-worker, Ingrid is dead. She was murder last night.- Tony said .

- we are sorry for your lost. What can you tell us about her work?
- Ingrid and i did a great Discovery about cancer treatment recently. Who could have done this?
- now that she is dead, yoy take all credits about the Discovery, right?- Tony asked.
- what are you trying to say? I helped Ingrid, but she take care of all experimente and the credit is all hers. Even after her death. Independently of what are you insinuating, i had no motive to kill her.

Ingrid's son arrived to the house thirty minutes after his dad.
- Special agent Gibbs, McGee. im sorry for your lost. We need to talk to you as well. Where were you last night?

Mcgee and Gibbs left the crime scene and went back to NCIS. Gibbs gave the phone number to Shannon, so she could check the kids halibi.
Hours had pass and Ducky call Gibbs.
- Ingrid Stephenson, 46 years old, died instantly between 2 and 4 am today, with a hit on the head by a sharp object.- Ducky said.
- i thought she was killed by the spear.- Gibbs said
- she was already dead when was perforated by the spear. By the way, the killer is right-handed.

- Abby is looking for fingerprints on the spear. And whatever she can find about the stag's head.- Ducky said.
- Se creepy me out. The stag's head, not Abby.- Jimmy commented.
- you see dead bodies all day, but get creepy with a stag's head trophy, Jimmy?- asked Gibbs.
- the ritual bizarre murder is actually fake. Just like the masks on the shelves on the victim's house are just copies of museum pieces.- Ducky said.
Gibbs went to see Abby and saw Shannon with her.
- hi, Gibbs i found two sets of fingerprints. One is unknown and the other belongs to Dick Stephenson. Dick is Ingrid's son. And according to his file, he was already arrested for drive drunk.- Abby said.
- looks like a fine kid. - Gibbs said
- i didnt find anything on the head yet.
- i call to everyone on the list. The kids halibi check out. He was with a friend.- Shannon said

Gibbs and Shannon went upstairs.
- Gibbs i was thinking. It Rain alot last night. And i notice that there was an umbrella on the living room.- McGee said.
- your point.- Gibbs ssid.
- Stephenson left the umbrella at home and was raining alot since midnight. Leaving without an umbrella is insane. He wouldnt be able to get to the car without beeing soaked. So i was thinking what if he wasnt leaving the house? He probably wasnt at home at all.
- that explains how he couldnt tell us the time he left. He didnt know the time his wife was murder.

- any results?- the director asked.
- we are desenvolving some ideas.- Tony said.
- this case is very serious, so Rush. Go to the victim's laboratory. I manage to get a search warrant for you.
