~Lainey~
"No, don't come up." I pulled my bag over my shoulder, fighting with it and the door handle as I tried to close it. "I'm coming down now. Just gimme 2 secs."
"Is this a normal persons 2 seconds or a Lainey Bishop's version?"
"A normal person's, obviously." He chuckled down the phone and my bedroom door clicked, letting me continue walk down towards the front door. A very judgey looking Spencer sat on the couch, laptop on his knee with the screen tugged down slightly. His eyes trailed down me slowly, stopping at the bottom of my skirt before darting back to my eyes.
"Where are you going?"
"Out."
"Not dressed like that you're not."
"Sorry, I think I missed the memo where you were put in control of my body. Oh wait." I rolled my eyes, not stopping my walk for even a second. I already had everyone waiting in the lobby, no doubt causing a commotion. I pulled the door open, almost running to press the button for the elevator.
"Who are you talking to? Thought you were home alone?"
"Oh it's a looonngg story." I sighed, leaning down to adjust my shoe whilst I waited. "Who's there?"
"Uh, the guys, Andi and Rory. But Chels, Sara, Amara and Hudson are down there already."
"Hudson?" I bolted upright. "Maybe tonight will be more fun than I thought." I could feel Jason's eyeroll down the line before the phone was gone from my hand.
"See. Completely unaware of your surroundings." I spun around, having to tilt my head back just slightly to make eye contact with the prick holding my phone in his hand well out of reach above my head, pushing it into the wall until I was caged in. This guy's so fucking stuck up.
"Ignoring you." I tried to reach up. "There's a difference."
"Go change."
"Who gave you the control card?" I scowled, ears pricking as the lift pulled up to the floor. "You're here to stop someone breaking in. Nothing else. Give me the phone."
"No-" In one movement I lifted my knee, colliding it with the gap between his legs with all my weight. Spencer's eyes widened before his knees went weak. He moved his hand off the wall, grip slipping so I could grab my phone back and get into the lift, using my trick to close the door so it wouldn't stop on another floor going down.
"Maybe you should be more aware of how you position yourself around a girl who has plans you're trying to ruin." The door closed just as Spencer seemed to be able to regain his strength, slowly standing up with a red face and dark eyes. Serves him right for assuming I don't have a clue how to keep myself safe. I turned to face the mirror, making sure my hair and makeup was perfect before I hit the ground floor. I'm mentally and physically exhausted but I simply can not let up.
I leaned my hands on the hand rail, staring myself down as I took a few deep breathes, preparing myself and my brain for chaotic Lainey. The bell rung and I stood up, turning and walking out of the space like a woman on a mission. My heels clicked on the marble floor, sound of my friends quietening at it, standing up from their seats by the front door. I glanced over at the security door, dropping Andrew a quick wink as I pushed through the gates.
"A little over 2 seconds." Jason tossed his arm over my shoulder and I scowled, shoving him off and brushing my shoulder like it was an insult he'd even touch me.
"Do you have any idea how expensive this jumper is. I don't need you getting your sweat all over it thank you very much." I looked around at the group, lifting my head slightly. "What is with everyone's faces?"
"You look a little flushed. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." I narrowed my eyes slightly at Kaiden. "Are we going or what?" The group let out a rambling of nods as they turned, beginning their conversations again since I'd interrupted.
It isn't a long walk down to Amara's apartment so we got there in no time and an hour later there was a hell of a lot more people packed in than the original group I'd been expecting. It wasn't a problem. The more people I'm around the easier it is to slip under radars. People are often so focused on themselves they won't realise something that's right under their nose a lot of the time. You can be wearing a vibrant, glow in the dark mask and if you never draw attention to it, no one will ask about it.
I couldn't tell you how many drinks in I was when a bottle started spinning on the floor, truth or dare being spat out in a collection of drunken giggles and expectant stares. It spins. Round and round and round. Lands on me. Of course.
"Do we even need to ask?" Theo chuckled, some other blonde girl I'd never seen before passing the blunt back to him.
"You guys know me too well." I smirked. "Dare."
"10 minutes in the closet with Hudson." Hudson instantly lifted his head from his beer, smirk instantly settling on his lips. Chels was too proud of herself for this one. Hudson had been dragged into our friendship group in the last month after cheating on one of Amara's closest friends. Luckily, Amara and Hudson hadn't met so her inviting him to a party a few weeks back was casual and he had no idea what was happening to him, but god did he fucking deserve it.
"Oh- I don't know." I shuffled in my spot, acting a little hesitant but he was already climbing to his feet.
"Fine with me if you're fine with it." He held a hand out for me, mischievous smile on his lips. I took it, letting him pull me to my feet, heading straight for the closet, door closing behind us. "10 minutes huh?"
"I guess so." His arm wrapped around my waist and I let out a quiet yelp.
"Better not waste anytime then." He didn't even have his lips completely on mine when his hand moved under my skirt. The guy was attractive, I had to give him that. If he hadn't openly cheated on someone, I wouldn't have a problem giving this guy everything he was after. But right now, I had other plans in mind.
"Hudson?" I forced my voice up in pitch, panting as he gently bit down on my neck. "Do you have a-" He stopped.
"For fuck sake." I moaned quietly, making him groan. "It's fine. We won't. You're not walking out of here without something though. I've been thinking about this for fucking weeks."
"Me too. You're so hot."
"Really?" I nodded, finding his eyes in the darkness.
"Why'd you think Chels said you? I'm kind of crushing." His eyes widened before his brows lowered in the middle.
"God I want to watch you come so fucking bad."
"Then make me." I whispered, digging my finger nails into his shoulder. "Please? I need you to make me come Hudson."
"Fucking hell. You're something else." He pushed a finger into me, immediately groaning. "You're so fucking tight." I nod, go with his movements and let him take me right to the edge and then tip me over, right as a commotion started on the other side of the door.
"Don't stop Huds-"
"LAINEY." 3 bangs on the door destroyed my hope at finishing tonight. Gutting. "Get out here right now." Is he fucking joking? How the hell did he find me?
