''Just one''

Alex isn't known for being a party guy but when his best friend invited him to one he reluctantly said yes. Because he knew Jack wouldn't want to go alone, you can't leave your best friend alone. Alex threw on Blink-182 as he drove and the two jammed out. As Alex approached the holiday party, he saw how many cars there were.

Alex parked a little over half a block from the house as the two walked to the house Alex sternly told his best friend, "Only one."

Jack nodded, "I know I know." So with that, Alex took to the corner awkwardly to hopefully blend into the background.

They'd only been there for an hour but Alex could see Jack was beyond wasted. Taking as Jack was on the dance floor dancing with random people Alex could tell he was in for a long day the next day. But to Alex's surprise, Jack was so wasted that in-face he willingly did a keg stand which he beyond hated doing Alex didn't blame him. Alex sighed knowing Jack would complain all tomorrow long about his head hurting. This is why we have only one rule for you, Jack Alex thought as he was Jack stumbled over to him.

"Lexieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~" Jack slurred out while falling into Alex's chest.

Alex managed to catch the taller drunk boy before he fell, "Yes Jack?"

Jack looked into Alex's deep brown eyes not blinking which unnerved Alex as he said, "I love you, man."

Alex laughed awkwardly, "I love you too."

Jack tried to stand up on his own but he fell into the wall not able to stand up straight, making Alex worried. "No, like I actually love you, Lexie"

Alex's face lit up like a Christmas light as the words escaped Jack's mouth before stuttering out, "You're just drunk."

Jack shook his head before planting his lips onto Alex's. Alex immediately kissed back but after a few moments he's head was swarmed with guilt, He's drunk Alex you're basically taking advantage of him get out of there. Alex pulled away before pushing Jack away slightly as his face heated up with shame. Jack gave Alex his pouting face as he got pulled to the door.

"You're too drunk Jack you need to rest to help calm down the hangover" Alex explained hoping to keep the other from being too upset as they slowly made their way to the car.

Jack crossed his arms like a pouting toddler before replying, "You just want to leave because I embarrassed you!"

Alex shook his head as he opened the car door for Jack, "No you didn't. You just need to get some sleep mister."

"I don't believe you. You just didn't like my dance moves", Jack mumbled as he got into the car and struggled to put on his seat belt. Defeated as Alex made his way to the other side Jack just stayed there with a pout on his face and his seat belt not on. Alex got in and saw a pouting Jack and sighed before helping drunk toddler Jack. Alex started the car and Jack reached over and put it on Christmas music. With that, the car was silent except for the voice of Mariah Carey who told them about what she wanted for Christmas.

Alex slowly pulled into the apartment complex just as it started to snow. The snow glistened off the car in the cheap outside lights Jack put up around their little cube. Smiling Alex shut the car off and turned to Jack to apologize but instead, he saw the skunk-haired boy sleeping. Alex got out of the car and went over to Jacks's side to unbuckle him and carry him upstairs. But as soon as Alex unbuckled him and got his arms under Jack he woke up.

Rubbing his eyes like a little kid who just woke up from a nap he asked, "What's going on Lexie?"

Alex blushed before removing his arms that he just realized were close to Jack's ass before replying to him, "We are home. I was going to carry you upstairs so you can sleep off the alcohol but yeah." Jack got himself out of the car and the two slowly went up the stairs.

Once inside Alex stated, "You seem less drunk."

Jack nodded in agreement before flopping on the couch. As the TV turned on Alex went into the kitchen to get the two of them water.

Alex walked out with two cups and he set one on the coffee table and the other on the table next to the small chair they owned. Jack put on Home Alone and the two watched in silence for a few minutes before Alex saw Jack making a motion with his hands out of the corner of his eye.

"Cuddles please", Jack whined as he made grabby hands like a toddler towards Alex. Alex let out a sigh before flopping down on the couch next to his drunk needy best friend and the two watched the movie more.

As Alex was slowly falling asleep he heard Jack mutter, "I was being serious I do love you."

Alex in a sleepy tone muttered back, "I love you too."
