Alex's P.O.V:

As I was walking down the street I felt like I ran straight into a brick wall, but soon found out that it wasn't a brick wall. In fact, it wasn't a wall at all, it was the one and only Nico Shaw.

"Hey... are you okay?" Nico asked me while I was still in a state of shock.

"Oh... uhhhh.. yeah! I'm fine. Are you okay?" I asked even though I'm the one that almost fell on my ass.

"Yeah, I'm fine. But you're the one that almost fell on your ass, not me. So... are you good?" I can tell that Nico is actually really worried.

"Good point. I'm fine, just shocked. That's all." I said as he let me go.

I look around realizing that it wasn't just Nico and Lena that I'm standing right in front of..... I'm standing in front of everyone. Except Ezra. Damnit.

"Why are you shocked? I mean I'm just walking around with my girl and these dumbasses. Or do you actually recognize us from YouTube? Because that would be amazing." He said. But it wasn't Nico who asked. It was......Otis.

"I do know you from YouTube. I love all of you by the way. Even you Lena. Can I ask you all a question?" I asked.

"Sure ya can, beautiful." It was Jake.

"What are you guys doing out this late at night? It's probably like 9:30 at night. I swear I'm not trying to be nosy." I asked them.

"We were just taking a stroll around the streets before going back home. What are you doing out this late? It's very dangerous to be out this late at night. Do your parents even know that you're not home, or did you sneak out of the house while they were sleeping." Nico asked.

The moment he mentioned parents, I stiffened. Would my parents have even let me leave the house at this time of night? Probably not. Would I have sneaked out if they told me that I wasn't allowed to go out? I probably would have if I really felt like it. But that's not the case, because I'm homeless and I live out on the streets. I don't usually sleep at night anyway, I sleep during the day. I know that sounds weird, but I only do it because I know how dangerous it is at night.

"Hey... why are you out this late? You kinda just spaced out once I asked you that. Are you not supposed to be out right now? We can walk with you until you get to your house if you want. We won't mind."

"No, I'm good. You don't have to walk me home. I do think that you guys should go home though. A bunch of bad people are supposed to be coming out pretty soon, and I don't want any of you getting hurt. Bye." I said to them as I started walking backwards away from them in a slight hurry.

"Bye. Be safe on your way home." Nico said before turning to his friends and walking off.

I turn around and start heading to my 'home' so that I can eat something since I haven't eaten at all today. As I was walking I heard a bottle rolling on the concrete behind me, So I turned to see who or what was there and I saw one of the other homeless people that I've met before. I called out my greetings and the old man called out his back. I was almost there when I got the feeling that someone or something was watching me, so I looked at my surroundings and saw nothing. I was completely alone out here. Hmm... That's odd. I turned back around and kept walking until I made it to my destination and sat down on the thing that I call my bed.

As I was getting ready to eat some of the little food that I have when I get the feeling that I'm being watched again. So I looked up and saw a small calico cat staring at the piece of bread I was holding in my hand. I put my hand out in front of me so that the cat could eat the bread. The cat eyed me wryly as it started to slowly walk closer and closer to my outstretched hand, and ate the bread.

"Good girl." I cooed as I started to pet the cute cat in front of me. "Where's your owner baby?"

Oh fuck. Now I'm talking to animals? What the hell is happening to me? As I'm petting the cat she walks towards me and lays down in my lap and starts purring. Aww.... I just made my very first friend with a stray cat.

"I'm gonna call you.....Kitty. Do you like that name Kitty?" As I asked the cat in my lap that question, she looked up and started purring even louder and harder. I laughed and said, "I'll take that as a yes." With a soft giggle. Then someone walked out from the corner of one of the two walls that I've been living in, and it was....
