Take In

Chapter 6:

Alex's P.O.V:

I guess I had ended up falling asleep because next thing I know I'm waking up to the sunlight shining in my face. I let out a soft groan and looked around at my surroundings. As I was looking around, the events from yesterday night started to flood my brain. As I was lost in my thoughts I didn't realize that Ezra had ended up waking up from his sleep.

"Good morning Alex." Ezra said with a still sleepy tone.

"Good morning." I said before sitting up and getting out of the bed.

I stood up and then stretched my body before looking around to see if Kitty was somewhere in the room. I didn't see her so I walked out of the room that I was in and started to make my way down stairs to see if Kitty was somewhere in the living room or kitchen roaming around.

When I didn't find kitty in the kitchen I decided to check the living room and the moment I walked in I saw kitty cuddled up on the couch sleeping. I decided not to bother her and went to get something to eat since I was feeling hungry.

While I was thinking of what to make I also thought about something for the others that lived in the house. So I made something that I loved to make... PANCAKES!!! If you don't like pancakes I don't like you jk, jk. As I was finishing up the pancakes I felt like someone was watching me. I looked behind me and saw Nico watching me.

"Good morning Nico! Did you sleep well?" I asked as I proceeded to plate the pancakes and set them on the table.

"Yeah I did. How about you?" He asked as he walked further into the kitchen. I gave him a thumbs up telling him that I slept well.

A few minutes later Nico helped me wake the others up. I woke up the girls while Nico woke up the guys. As me and the girls were talking in the kitchen eating the food that I made Nico and everyone else came in and started to eat as well.

"Mmmmmhhhhhh~ Who cooked? This is so good!" Jake yelled as he stuffed more food into his mouth.

"I did. Is it really good tho?" I asked nervously.

"Yeah, it is girl!!! These are the best pancakes ever!!!" Lena yelled as she ate her last bite.

                                                                           After breakfast

When everyone finished eating I started to clean the dishes since I'm the one who cooked breakfast.

"Why are you doing the dishes? You cooked breakfast, didn't you?" Ezra asked as he walked into the kitchen as I was still cleaning the plates from breakfast.

"I'm doing it because I'm the one who made breakfast. I would feel bad if any of you cleaned the dishes even though you didn't make the mess." I said as I started to dry the plates and put them away.

As I was doing this Ezra walked over and started to help me dry and put away the plates. As we were doing this we talked and learned more about each other and I found out that we have a lot of things in common with each other. I also learned about how Ezra had become a vamp and how long he had been one. It seemed really cool to be a vamp, but also really stressful some of the time.

                                                                                 Later~

"So...what are we doing today?" Jake asked as he was sitting on the couch with his girlfriend Tara sitting on his lap.

"I don't know about you all...but I need to go to work. So.....bye." I said as I picked up Kitty and my bag before walking over to the door so that I could put my shoes on to leave.

"You can't leave. It's not safe to be out there by yourself." Nico said as he walked up to me with a worried expression on his face.

"I'll be fine. Besides, I can take care of myself. Remember how I beat up Jake, Otis, AND Ezra? I don't need protection." I said and opened the door and walked out of the house.

"Just....be safe. Okay?" Ezra asked when he put his hand on my shoulder.

"I promise. Give me your phone." I said turning around with my hand out to Ezra.

"What? Why?" He asked.

"So that I can write your number down so that I can contact you if I ever feel like I'm in danger or if I just need help." I said back sassily.

"Fine. But take Nico's as well then." Ezra said as he handed me his phone. After I got Nico and Ezra's phone numbers I said my goodbyes and left.
