Nico's P.O.V:

Once I turned around to face the others I heard the girl walking away to God knows where. Then I remembered that I didn't get her name. I turned back around to ask but she was already gone.

"Well...damn. I forgot to ask her what her name was. Otis, Devyn. Will you follow her until you know that she's safe and at home? I kept getting a weird vibe off of her and I can't wrap my finger around what it is."

"Sure. I felt it too my brother. Something's up with her and I'd also like to know what that is. We'll do it. Don't worry." Otis said to me before he grabbed Devyn's hand and walked in the direction that she went.

"And don't let her see you!!" I hollered after them. They both shouted out an 'Okay' before they kept walking.

I turned back to the others and we started to walk back to the house since we were all getting a little tired of walking. Once we got to the house we walked in and the first thing we heard was, "I'M GONNA KILL YOU! YOU MOTHER FUCKER!!!" We all ran to the living room and saw Ezra playing on the Xbox on the TV. Ezra looked our way with a small glare on his face when he heard me laugh quietly.

"Where's Dev and Otis? I thought they were with you when you left a few hours ago." Ezra asked.

"Well, this girl ran into me and I caught her before she fell on her ass and had a small conversation with her about how dangerous it was to be out at night, and she said that she was going to be fine. I asked her if her parents knew that she wasn't home and she spaced out thinking about something, that gave me my answer but I asked her again anyway, and she said that she was good. Then she said bye and left. I was getting an odd vibe from her and apparently so was Otis so I sent him and Devyn to follow after her until she made it home safely, but to also make sure that she doesn't see them while they follow her home. She even said that a lot of bad people came out soon and that made me want to ask her how she knew that but I didn't. So those two are following her right now and we're only back here because our feet started to hurt and we got tired of walking. Now you know." I said to Ezra.

"What's this girl's name?" He questions.

"I don't know. I forgot to ask. But she recognized me and the others from YouTube. I didn't react because I didn't want her to become suspicious of anything. She did ask why we were all out so late though. All I told her was that we were just out for a little walk. That's it. Besides the fact that she didn't want us to walk with her until she was home."

Ezra had a look on his face that I couldn't read so I asked him what was wrong.

"I'm just trying to figure out why she didn't want you to walk with her until she made it home safely. It's just weird. You also said that she mentioned that she knew you and the others." Huh. Ezra has a good point.

"Good point. Well, I'm gonna go to bed. Will you tell me when the others get home? I need to talk to them about something." I asked Ezra.

"Sure brother. I'll let them know you need to speak with them about something. Good night."

I left the room and headed up stairs and sat on the foot of mine and Lena's bed thinking about the unnamed girl that we ran into earlier. A few minutes later Otis and Devyn were walking into the room.

"Did she make it home with no problems?" I asked them. I saw the two of them share a look between them that gave me the feeling that something was up. "What's up guys? What happened?"

The next thing that came out of Otis's mouth shocked me, "She's homeless Nico. We found her sitting on the concrete with a few coats around her and a calico cat curled up sleeping in her lap. We heard her talking to the cat so we let her and waited a few minutes, it wasn't her cat Nico. It was a stray cat that she named Kitty. The poor cat looked like it hadn't eaten in at least a week and she gave the cat her food to eat. After a few minutes we walked out from our spots so that she could see us and so that we could see her. Nico, from what I saw, it looked like she's been homeless for about four months." As Otis was telling me all of this I kept looking back and forth from him and Dev. She was homeless? How?

"Did you figure out her name?" I couldn't stop myself from asking.

"Her name is Alex Scott. She's also 19 years old. Loves animals, and she also loves music and wearing male hoodies just because of how comfortable they are to her and the way some of them look." Devyn said, answering my question with a lot of other stuff about her. A look of shock and bewilderment is most likely showing as my facial expression right now. I look at Otis and he has his hands up and said that he couldn't get her to stop asking questions to her.

"We have to tell this to Ezra. He will know what to do about this situation." As soon as I finished that sentence Ezra walked in the room.

"No need. I already know. Super hearing, remember." Ezra said, the last part is more of a statement than a question.

I bet you're wondering what in the hell Ezra means by super hearing. Well I'm just going to be blunt about it. We're Vampires. Yup, Vamps, it's actually really cool and can be super fun at times. We have super hearing, we can move and run very fast, we can smell what others are feeling also.

"So, what are we going to do about this girl, Alex, Ezra? Are we going to keep following her, or are we just going to act like we never even ran into her in the first place?" I directly asked Ezra.

"Get her to be our friend, gain her trust and find out how she knows about us."He said and walked out the room.

"Didn't she say she had seen us on YouTube?" Otis asked.

"Something isn't sitting right with me about that answer and I don't know why. I'm just getting the feeling that she wasn't telling you the truth with that answer." Ezra replied back before leaving the room.
