Octavia POV

Gale walked quickly through the other halls not saying one word to me. " Gale." I call but still he walks. " Hawthorne." I say again.

" What Octavia?" He says shortly.

" Why are you so mad?"

" Because, you just don't understand."

" Understand what? We were dancing, for the propos."

He now turns, " I didn't see any cameras."

" None that you could see." I sigh, " We're not dating. We've been over this."

" You decided River Odair was the better option, seriously Octavia?"

I scoff, " I didn't decide anything! With anyone."

" So it's up to me , Callahan, and now River? Maybe throw Cato in the mix to by the way you always look at him like a lost puppy!" Gale shouts.

I stare in disbelief, " Cato is happily in a realtionship."

" If he wasn't? When we all thought they were all dead? When you two talked all the time?" He questions.

" We were both hurting, and only talked because we wanted to get them back by working together. I can feel bad for what happened Gale! Because of me people lost their lives, those victors were in the Capitol, other victors died protecting me."

I recognize where we are. " If it was up to anyone. One would NOT be you, you have to much hate in your heart to even let someone in. I know where I am, I don't need your help."

He looks taken back, " I'm still not leaving alone with him. I'll be in the observation room with everyone else."

I walk ahead of him as he follows quietly behind. Plutarch stands with a couple doctors I think. I look through the one sided glass to Cal putting finishing touched on the cake.

" She's ready Callahan." Plutarch said in a microphone.

Cal looks up briefly stepping carefully away from the cake as he sits back down on his bed, 2 guards going in to tie him down.

Plutarch looks at me, " Whenever your ready, keep him talking the more we find out the more we know how to treat him."

I nod looking at Gale one more time walking through the short hallway into his door. I open it carefully.

He stares, taking in every part of my body, hair, eyes, so much I feel awkward as he just..stares.

I look over at the cake, " We were in an arena with tunnels, right?" Cal says.

I look back at him, " We were."
