Sadies POV

"No, I do understand!" My mom defends herself, but we've been talking about this for the last thirty minutes and she still doesn't understand my reasoning. "But, you told me this morning you signed up for your upcoming semester classes that are in two weeks. Why would you move in with him now? Why not move in after your last semester of college ever is over?"
"Mom!" I groan, "I just can't tell him no! And I can't tell him about college, not yet. It would seriously break him right now." I continue stuffing as many clothes as I can inside my duffel bag. I don't plan on packing my entire closet or anything, just in case.

"But wouldn't telling him the truth now be better than later," She says, sitting on top of one of my suitcases, trying to zip it shut. I sigh loudly,
"Yeah, probably. But there's no time to think about that right now."
"Do you need me to drive you to his place?"
"No, mom, I'm okay."

At this point I'm just trying to get out of this house.

"Oh my baby, all grown up." I turn to her, her eyes welling up with tears.
"Mom, I'm not even moving out fully, and you did the same thing when I left for college."
"I know, I know." She sniffles, wiping away the tears. "I just don't know where all the time went." I sigh, putting the duffel bag on my shoulder, and grabbing one of my suitcases in my free hand.
"Can you get," Suddenly, she grabs my last suitcase, and holds it above her head.
"Already got it!" We go up the stairs, I kick the door open softly with my foot. As we start to head outside, I hear a car honk. Turning, I see it's Lars.

That's nice of him to pick me up!

I smile, walking to him and my mom following. "Hey," I say, leaning through his open window, giving him a quick kiss on the lips. My mom opens the passenger door, and tosses my luggage in. I put the rest back there as well. Then, I turn to my mom, tears welling up in her eyes again. "Oh, momma." I say, giving her a hug, to which she squeezes the crap out of me.
"I'm gonna miss you, honey." She releases me, and I smile, heading to the other side of the car, to sit next to Lars.

"Ready?" He asks, taking the car out of park. I nod,
"Ready as I'll ever be."

We make it to his house, which is now our house. Unloading the car, it doesn't take long till all of my belongings are in his room. I don't bother trying to unpack, as I know it'll take too much time, and I'm already tired from packing, and from a majorly draining conversation with my mom. I sit on the bed, and see Lars from the hallway, in a call, "Yeah, man, it's gonna start at seven." Lars says in to his phone, "Bring the music, and booze, and all the people you can. This is going to be a big ass party," I look over at Lars,
"Party?" Lars looks at me, forgetting I was there.
"Yeah," then he brings his attention to his phone, "Nah man, I already have a girlfriend, I don't care about babes. Just bring the booze." With that, he hangs up the phone. Walking over to me, I give him a concerned look.

"You never told me we'd have a party,"
"It's in celebration!" He says, sitting next to me.
"I know, but parties aren't really my thing," I admit. I wasn't the partying type in college either, I usually just hung out with my small friend group and had gatherings in each others dorms. Lars hand goes to my face, and I look him in the eyes.
"Sadie, I promise you, it's going to be okay." Ending it on that, he places a soft kiss on my lips. I kiss him back, becoming entranced. The kiss becomes heated, Lars starting to get on top of me, unbuttoning my pants.

"How about we celebrate together right now?" He whispers in my ear, making my skin crawl. I can't help but grin,
"I like the sound of that."

Lars POV

The room is spinning, and the loud booming of music isn't helping either. The couch I'm sitting in feels like quick sand. My hand reaches out beside me, grabbing a random red solo cup. Not sure if it's mine, but it has alcohol in it so I'll take it gladly. As I take a few big gulps of it, I see two familiar faces walk through the door. "Oh my god!" I exclaim, getting up from my spot on the couch. "You guys!" I yell, hugging them both. "I didn't think you would come," They both don't respond, but I don't care. "You guys, Sadie and I are back together! I mean, we've been back together for like two months now, but now we're seriously back in it!" I laugh, leaning my head back, the feeling of pure euphoria at the thought of Sadie making me feel so happy.

"We know," one of the people says, "It's quite obvious you guys are back together."
"Yeah," the other person says, "We're super happy for you both." I smile wider, finally letting them go from the hug. As I try my hardest to continue a conversation with them, I feel someone tug on my arm. I turn, and look to see it's Sadie.

"Sadie!" I exclaim, hugging her close. "Where the hell have you been loca?" Sadie freezes in my arms, probably shocked to how drunk I am.
"Lars, I'm getting really tired," She says in my ear, but it's hard to hear her from the music. "Do you think you can start asking people to leave?" I turn to tell the people I was just talking to to head out, but they're already gone. So, I turn back to Sadie.
"I gotchu baby." I let her go, and begin wobbling over to the kitchen. It takes me awhile to get through the crowd, but I'm finally inside, and although I am pretty tall, I don't think anyone would notice me if I tried to demand them to leave. I jump up on my dining room table, the legs wobbling underneath my weight. But the liquid courage takes over me, and I don't even realize how over the top I'm being. The room sways around, the sea of people continuing to dance the night away. But when my lady says she's ready to go to bed: it's time to go to bed.

"Yo!" I yell, but no one listens. "AYOO!!" Finally, people turn their heads, and someone finally cuts the music. "IF you don't live here!! GET THE FUCK OUT!" I scream, swaying more on the unstable table. People begin to listen, getting out of the house.

"You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here!" As the kitchen soon becomes empty, Sadie is able to squeeze her way in from the crowd.
"Lars,"
"Sadie!" I say, ecstatically, "Sadie," I say again, feeling embarrassed at my drunkenness. "I don't think I can get down." Begrudgingly, she holds out her hand. I take it, and she helps me down. "Thanks, roomie!" I say, a dumb smile coming on to my face. I begin giggling, my lower region becoming excited at the sight of my girlfriend.

"Hey," I say, leaning in to her. "Do you wanna...go to bed?"
"What do you mean?" She asks, perplexed by my question.
"I'm just...getting really hard." She then looks at me, a mix between shocked and disgusted. "Shit, I'm sorry," I say, overstepping. "Fuck."
"No no, it's okay." She holds my arm, leading me out of the kitchen. "Maybe later, when you're sober." I nod, understanding. She begins to lead me through the living room, then around the corner to up the stairs.
"I'm so glad we're back together," I confess to her, "I don't know what I'd do without you in my life." As she's leading me up the stairs, she rubs the small of my back, in a comforting way.
"Me too, Lars."

"I've missed you so so much," I feel tears coming to my eyes, but I quickly wipe them away. I continue my journey up the stairs. "Fuck I'm so drunk." Finally, I make it to the top of the stairs, and I see how upset Sadie is looking. "Are you okay?" She nods,
"Yeah, it's just...parties sometimes overwhelm me." The realization comes to my inebriated brain, and I gasp.
"Ohhh shit. I'm so sorry, I forgot all about that. I thought you'd be fine!" Sadie doesn't let me stop and talk, but continues to reel me in to the bedroom. "Baby, Sadie, I'm so sorry."
"Lars, it's okay. The party is over, and I just want to go to bed, okay?"
"But you're clearly upset with me," She sighs, not being able to hide it anymore.

"I was, at first." She gets me to the bed, and I begin to take off my clothes. I struggle with my shirt, but I'm able to get it off. Then I start to take off my pants, then my socks.
"I'm sorry, I should've asked how you felt about a party," I get under the covers. I watch as Sadie goes to her luggage, trying to find some pjs to sleep in. Not being able to find it in one, she empties it out, going to the next. "I...just wasn't thinking. I was just so excited we moved in together, I wanted to celebrate." I sit up in the bed, as she's now rummaging through her second suitcase. "I was literally going around to so many people, telling them how happy I was that you said yes to living with me." She nods, finding some pjs, and changing in to them.

"I heard, actually. That's why I had to find you." She turns to me, with a soft smile on her face. "You're never that honest if you're sober." I laugh, falling back into my pillow.
"You know me so well!" My eyes begin to feel heavy, Sadie crawling to bed next to me, and I feel her lay her head on my chest. Happiness is rushing all throughout my nervous system, my blood streams, everything. "I love you so much," I say, falling in to a deep sleep.

"I love you too."
