It had been a long day at this shoot for the new Calvin Klein launch. I had to set up two different sets and several looks for the models that was booked for today's shoot.
With the pandemic somewhat allowing us to come back to our lives, work has been so hectic, I hadn't been home in so long and I missed all my friends. When the pandemic hit I was overseas in America and hadn't been able to return back. So even though I was only here for a modeling contract that had more venues and shoot for here rather than on Korea at the time so I came here to get as much exposure as I could. So once my contract was almost up and the country went on lock down I had to stay I can now leave but not everyone is back which makes sense and a lot lost their jobs entirely.
As a model it was he hardest to be on during this time, you couldn't be in close proximity with other people. Even with a mask on you were only protect by so much and photoshoots and walkways required so many people.
To put it easy I was lucky I found a love for Production Designing even though my career was in modeling.
I finished cleaning up and changed my mask to a fresh new one since I basically covered the current one in sweat.
This might be the biggest launch yet for them and I'm not even modeling this time.
As I grabbed my bags I was almost out the door when Andrew the lead of this whole launch asked me to stay after a bit.
"Sure what is it?." I sighed quietly.
"This is a longshot but do you know Korean?" He clutched his iPad looking hella desperate.
If he ever paid attention to his staff he'd know full well that I am half Korean.
"Seriously I was forced to stay here because of the pandemic you know I lived there before here." I rolled my eyes at his lack of common sense for his employees
*I should trip him when he walks by.*
"I'm pretty fluent, I can hold conversations easy why what's up?" I figured he'd needed me to translate something or looking over a email for him and help.
