"Lando Norris. This is not what I meant when I said we should hang out tonight." I panted.

We were back in Monaco and had a couple days off until the GP, so me and Lando had decided to spend some time together. I, of course, then regretted that suggestion when he turned up at my door an hour ago and dragged me out to 'get some air' and 'stretch my legs'.

There was air in my lungs and my legs were perfectly fine on the couch. The lovely couch.

It's not as if the air is fresher up here than it is in my bedroom. Which it is, but I am never going to admit that to him. So, here we were walking up this stupid hill, and this stupid day, with this stupid fresh air.

"Well, too bad. Now come on, we're almost there." He encouraged me.

"But my feet hurt." I whined. He sighed.

"Come on, Clem. You can't come to Monaco and not see this place." He kept walking. I lagged behind.

Every step was torture. We had been walking for what felt like hours, and after a long day of training, it felt like my legs were going to drop off.

How he had this much energy was beyond me. Cocaine? A scandalous Red Bull? Who knew.

"I'm sorry. You have to leave me here." I sat down on a rock, panting. He stopped and turned around to look at me with an exasperated sigh. "I know it's hard, but you must go on without me. I will forever keep you in my heart." I said it dramatically, but he cut me off.

"Oh, shut up. You are so dramatic, you know that?" He rolled his eyes.

"Yes. Yes, I do."

"Look, you can see the top. Just a little further. And bonus: if you hate the sunset and the view, then I'll let you push me back down the hill." He crossed his arms. I looked up.

"That is enticing." I pondered the pros and cons for several seconds before nodding. "I humbly accept." I got up again, and new energy was surging through me. The thought of him tumbling down a hill fueled me.

"Mhm." I didn't have to look at him to know he was rolling his eyes at me.

I took a single step.

Can't be that bad, right?

"Aaaaah, it's immediately awful." I groaned.

"If we miss the sunset, I swear I'm going to make you walk back home." Lando said.

"I like to see you try, stupid face." I muttered under my breath as he walked past me.

"What was that?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Nothing." I smiled. He turned away again. "Stupid good hearing, energetic little-"

"Stop muttering and just look."

Without realizing it, I had been walking this whole time, and we were now standing at the very top of the hill. I froze.

Wow...

Well, I'm pretty sure we didn't miss the sunset...

I widened my eyes, trying to drink in as much of the breathtaking view as I could. The golden orange rays of light danced across the harbor, painting all of the city and mountainside gold.
