            SOFT SNORES left Roselyn's mouth as she slept peacefully in her bed. Well...she was sleeping peacefully until someone was shaking her shoulders.

Roselyn groaned loudly and opened her eyes half way to look at her daughter who was staring down at her. "Mom. You have to get up." she whispered tugging on the blankets. Roselyn looked over at the clock that read 6:13am. She rolled her eyes and grabbed the sheets out of Danielle's hand and pulled them back over her head.

Danielle huffed, a small smile playing on her lips as she lifted the sheets up again and climbed inside. Roselyn gave her daughter a playful glare as she lied down next to her.

"You have to go up so you can take me and Rory to school." Danielle said snuggling up close to her mother. Roselyn wrapped her arms around her small frame and sighed heavily "I could homeschool you and Rory instead. I went to Chilton so I can teach you."

Danielle laughed "You don't remember anything from when you went to Chilton."

Roselyn gasped at that, knowing it was true but refused to admit it. "Well, at least you wouldn't have to wake up this early."

"Mother." the younger Gilmore scolded, getting up out of the bed and pulling her mother by her arms. Roselyn gripped onto the bed when she realized she was halfway hanging off the bed. "Okay, Okay!"

Danielle smiled widely in victory before walking out of the bedroom and closing the door.

Roselyn huffed and grumbled to herself as she scrambled over to the pantsuit that was hanging on her closet door. She was happy Danielle wanted to go to this school, but she was not happy about having to wake up this early.

As she was in the middle of putting on her outfit, she opened up her bedroom door and yelled down the stairs "Make sure you put a pot of coffee on!"

Danielle who was already doing that grinned "already ahead of you!"

It was almost an hour when Roselyn came down the stairs. She had on a navy blue pant suit with black heels and her makeup was already put on her face. She wasted no time in going over to the pot and pouring up coffee in one of the thermoses. Then she made sure to have two extra for Rory and Lorelei because she had a feeling they would need it.

Unexpectedly the phone started to ring. Danielle gave her mother a weird look, it wasn't often someone called this early. When she picked it up, Rory's voice was sharp through the phone "Mom isn't even awake yet! She missed her alarm and now we're going to be late!"

Danielle picked up the car keys and tossed it towards her mother who caught it with ease.

"We're on the way right now, tell her to find something to wear quickly."

It was a good thing Lorelai and Roselyn didn't live too far away from each other. Then again, there was no such thing as too far when it came to living in Stars Hollow. The town was to small for its own good, however Roselyn and Lorelai only lived three houses down from each other so it was easy when they both wanted to carpool or walk to each others house.

When they pulled up into the driveway, Roselyn pressed the horn down a few times to let them know they were outside. It only took a few seconds until Rory opened the door and came down the wooden stairs with a sour look on her face. Roselyn was about to ask what was wrong until the sight of her sister wearing cowboy boots, a pink crop top and jean shorts existed the house.
