Awkward

I wore a pair of light-coloured jeans, a white blouse and a pair of black shoes. It was almost 9. I got into my car and drove to Sergio's appartement. He was already out, waiting for me. "Hey Mes!" He greeted me entering my car. "Hey dude, so nice to see you! So, where are we going?" I asked. "Just drive to the typical restaurant we hang out every time. We will meet with Marcelo, Cristiano and Karim." He answered. "Got it!" I said, driving to that place. "So.. Tomorrow, huh?" He asked me while I was focused on driving. "Yeah, at the morning.." I responded to his question. "I will mis you Mes.. You are my closest friend.. Really.." I heard him saying sadly. "We will always admire you Sergio, you will always be my mate." I also said sadly. "I.. Maybe be really.. Into you.. You know.. It's kinda hard to admit.." I also heard him saying. I was kinda surprised but.. We were really close with Sergio.. What should I say? "Mate, we will be best friends forever, I will text you ever y day, I promise. I will never forget you!" I told him. Was I.. At least convincing? He was speechless. Like, seriously. He didn't say anything. I'd rather not talk as well. We arrived at the restaurant. That night was amazing! Those guys are just so adorable. Sergio though.. He didn't say a word. I felt so embarrassed. He didn't even go home with me.. He preferred Marcelo. Weird.. I arrived home and quickly took a nap. I had a long day tomorrow. 

I woke up, full of strength. I wore some casual clothes and drove to the airport. I texted 'Good morning :)" to Sergio, just to make sure he wasn't mad at me. No answer. I got into my plane anyway. I maybe just needed to wait for his response.
