When the Star Fell in Love With the Moon

Jealous Much?

It didn't take long for the boys to get back into their usual routine:
Wake up, complain
Go to class (mostly pay attention)
Be obnoxious at lunch
Finish classes
Pester Remus as he studies
Pull or plan a prank
Gather in the common room
Get scolded for being too loud before bed
Sneak out and or cause some mischief
Rinse, sleep, Repeat

It was a lazy afternoon and Remus was studying in his usual spot at the library.
He was alone per usual as neither, James, nor Peter, and especially not Sirius, liked hanging out in the library. Remus enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere,the smell of old books, and the fact that he could getaway from the others and study without being interrupted, usually that is.

"Mind if I join you?"

Remus looked up from his book to see a rather handsome looking guy standing in front of him. Remus gave him a slight smile and gestured to the seat across from him.

"Thanks" the guy said, flashing Remus a wide smile.

He was tall and had a pretty muscular build.

Damn he's actually really fucking hot

Without making it too obvious he was checking him out, Remus took a closer look. The guy had tan skin, piercing light green eyes, full lips, dark brown well maintained hair that reminded Remus of chocolate and a jaw line that looked like it cut.

"I'm Jack" the guy said, extending a hand towards Remus.

"Remus" he responded, introducing himself.

"Nice to meet you" he said taking Jacks hand.

The two shook hands, but Jack's seemed to linger holding Remus's hand for a couple seconds longer than needed.

"I've seen you here for the past few days and decided I should come say hi" Jack said smiling as he got comfortable in his chair.

"So I finally meet the famous Remus Lupin"
Jack said meeting Remus's eyes.

"I didn't know I was famous"Remus smiled back amused, he felt like he was going to burst into flames under Jacks gaze

"Oh you're more than famous Lupin"
Jack paused, looking remus up and down.

"You're bloody gorgeous"
He said grinning.

Straight forward, okay

Remus turned red, staring back at him

"You're not too bad yourself" he smirked.

"Whatcha workn on?"
Jack asked looking over at Remus's book

"Just some history of magic stuff for professor Binns" Remus said casually.

"Ah". "I got some Herbology books to read myself" Jack said gesturing to the stack of books his right.

"Hmm, enjoy"
Remus said before going back to his own book.

The two studied together for a few hours, both stealing glances at one another, while trying not to get caught staring. Remus looked down at his watch, seeing how late it had gotten, he realized he had spent more time in the library than he had intended and should head back to the dorm. He started to gather his things and stood up from his seat, he could feel Jack's eyes watching him.

"It's getting late so I think I'm gonna head back to my dorm and try and get some sleep" Remus announced .

"I was actually just thinking the same thing"
Jack said grinning up at him as he started collecting his belongings.

Remus waited for him and the two began walking out of the library together

"So what year are you?" Remus began
