Remus and Sirius both groaned as James woke them up.
"Come on you sleepy buggers, time for class!"
"Stoppp" Remus wined as he pulled himself to his feet.
"Your voice is too bloody loud"
"You two got pretty wasted last night huh?" James laughed.
"Don't remind me" Sirius grumbled, getting up now as well.
"So what did you two idiots get up to last night?!" James asked enthusiastically, as he sat down on Sirius's bed.
"Mmm nothing!" Sirius replied rapidly.
Remus thought about Sirius's reaction, he didn't remember the entirety of the night but they definitely weren't up to "nothing"
Either I'm going crazy or... he definitely kissed me.
Does he remember?
"Really?" James gave him a questioning look.
"You expect me to believe that you and Moony got drunk and did absolutely nothing."
"Uh yep!" Sirius shot back.
James looked to Remus to verify.
"Um yeah I mean I don't remember all of it but uh I don't think we did much" Remus shrugged trying to play it cool.
"Hmm, you guys are boring! You both got drunk and did nothing about it! No mischief or nothing!" James exclaimed.
"Weirdos.." James muttered before shaking his head and walking away.
As soon as he was out of the room, Remus and Sirius both looked at each other. Remus's expression paralyzed Sirius.
Does he know?!
If he remembers last night...

"You decent Padfoot?" Remus broke the silence.
"Yeah.. just have a headache" Sirius Lied.
Remus didn't look convinced but didn't question him further. Instead he go up and started getting ready for the day, Sirius decided he better do the same. Once he is ready, Remus holds open the dorm room door waiting for him so they can walk out together. Sirius smiles and walks over toward him but trips over the clothes James had left on the ground.
"ACK" He went tumbling towards the door.
Remus caught him, wrapping his arms around Sirius quickly and pulling him close in order to stop him from falling down the stairs. Sirius's heart was pounding.
It wasn't the first time they had ended up in a position like this as the two of them had a habit of catching each other if something were to go arwy since they were usually in close proximity. This time though, Remus didn't let go in an instant, he was still holding Sirius. Sirius thought he might pass out.
Oh merlin ..
We're so close
He's so beautiful
