"And make sure you bring some alcohol, I won't let you in if you don't have it." Tyler was telling me on the phone. I rolled my eyes, taking a bite out of a dinner roll. My mom's been sliding meals under the door, of course I'm gonna eat it, I can't sit in here and starve. But I just can't talk to her right now, not after what I said, I feel so awful with myself. "Yeah, yeah, I'll remember to bring some alcohol Tyler." I said. I had called him asking about the party and shit, wasn't expecting him to even tell me. But he did surprisingly, even after I jacked him up in front of his friends outside that day at school. He was telling me all these stupid ass rules. I had to be there at a certain time, I had to have a costume on, and I had to bring snacks and alcohol. But I don't mind, I have all of those things, I just want to get out of this fucking house. "Alright cool, I'll see you there, watch out for the Myer's house." He told me.

"The what?"

"You've never heard about the Myer's house?" He asked, he actually sounded surprised too. "No I haven't, what is it?" I said.

"It's where Michael Myer's killed his sister, he lived there, my house is right behind it, it's miles away but you're gonna have to go near it to get to my place." He explained. "You think he's there?" I said now feeling anxious. "Oh I don't know. I mean it is Halloween, that's when he kills people." He said casually. I didn't respond, I was just thinking, the puzzle pieces in my head were slowly clicking together now. My mom never let me go trick or treating. I always asked why and she would always tell me because it was dangerous, and now I see why. I felt a pang of guilt in my chest now thinking about my mom. I know I said I hated her but I only said that because I was angry, I didn't mean it. And now that I know more about this Michael Myer's guy, I now understand that she's just trying to protect me. "Alright, I'll see you there." I told him, then I hung up my phone. I stuffed it in my pocket and unlocked my door slowly opening it. I couldn't hear anyone downstairs and I didn't see my mom's bedroom light on. I slowly made my way downstairs, I know I said I wasn't gonna talk to her but I was in the wrong, I have to apologize to her.

There was nobody in the living room, I could hear kids laughing as they walked pass my house trick or treating. "Mom?" I called out walking into the kitchen, she wasn't in there either. I searched every room in the house, and she wasn't in any of them. I could feel the anxiety slowly rising inside of me now, I walked back into the living room sitting down now in the armchair. I need to quit worrying so much, she probably went to the store or something. Something crunched under my shoe, I looked down and saw bits of glass on the carpet, it was a broken bottle of vodka, I could still see the stain of the alcohol on the rug. I looked down at it, my mouth open. I got out of the armchair and ran to the front door. I stopped before I opened it, it was already unlocked. My mom NEVER leaves the door unlock when she leaves, it can only mean...

"No.." I said to myself shaking my head.

The serial killer has her- I mean it's Halloween he's probably out right now going on a whole killing spree. I mean Tyler isn't really someone I would believe, but he sounded very serious when he was telling me that shit. I ran upstairs grabbing my jacket, then I ran into the kitchen and grabbed the skillet. I know I said I was going to Tyler's party but fuck that- my mom's out there somewhere- in danger.

As I ran out the door, I accidently bumped into a few trick or treaters, but I didn't say sorry or anything. I was now running at full speed up the street, it was getting a lot quieter since there was no one up here, and then that's when I finally saw it.

It was a very large house, and with it's boarded up windows and caution tape lacing the rusty fence, it just stuck out like a sore thumb. This has to the the house, I just know it. As I was walking to the gate, something caught my eye, there were two crosses under the tree right across from the house. I walked over to them to get a closer look. They were two white crosses, and on both of them was a picture of a boy, they were twins. My heart dropped when I read their names, Freddy and Jason... I remember my mom telling me a story about her friends named Freddy and Jason, and how "bad things" had happened to them. Are these the friends? And why are they right across from the Myer's house? I glanced back it, through the windows, the house looked pitch black, which was pretty eerie. I took in a deep breath and went back across the street opening the gate. I don't care how dangerous and scary this shit is, my mom could be in there right now.

She could be dead...

Just the thought of that made me run straight into the house, the door had been kicked down for some odd reason. I had my skillet raised ready to hit anything that comes my way. There was dried blood on the floor, and that made my heart drop, I mean it can't be hers can it? It looked much older, not that fresh. I took a few steps up the dusty old stairs, they creaked with every step I took. I was halfway up the stairs when I paused, I could hear noises from the top. It sounded like a woman sobbing and talking, I instantly recognized my mother's voice. She's really here and he really did get her, but he's not gonna kill her, I won't let him.

Laurie had been on guard ever since she heard about Michael's escape, and now that it was Halloween, this was it. Evil dies tonight.. She thought to herself as she drove down the street, there were many kids trick or treating, their parents were with them too. Laurie stopped the car and got out pointing her pistol around, "Everybody run! Get out of here!" She yelled. Kids screamed and their parents quickly ran, dragging their children with them. Good.. Laurie thought. There shouldn't be any killing tonight if no one's out here. She was now walking up the street to the Myer's house- her old house. She doesn't remember anything about it, after what happened, she was only a baby. Shortly after her older sister Judith died by Michael's hands, her parents moved away, bringing her with them of course. They sadly died in a car crashed a few years later after moving. Laurie now stood in front of the house, staring at it. This isn't the first time she's seen it. She drives past it all the time, hoping to maybe catch him in there and kill him. She looked across the street at the two crosses under the tree, twin brothers Jason and Freddy died on this street. Strangely it wasn't by Michael Myers, but by a car.  Laurie turned her attention back to the house now, she got her pistol out of her hand and creeped around it, looking through every window for something. Most of the windows were boarded up, except the front ones and one in the back. There was nothing in the two front windows so Laurie crept to the back of the house. She froze when she heard something, it sounded like a female. Laurie couldn't make out what she was saying because her voice was muffled, but from pitch of her voice, she was in trouble. She walked around the house to the back and saw a window that wasn't boarded up, inside of it she could see two shadow figures in there. One of those figures has to be Michael.

Laurie loaded her pistole and hid in the bushes, and waited.
