NOVEMBER 1 8:28 AM

It took Laurie a minute to wake up all the way, all she knew at first was that her wrists hurt and itched. She could hear what sounded like a woman talking, but it sounded so far away. Must be the TV, I told Jamie about leaving it on... Laurie thought to herself, she opened her eyes and everything came crashing back down to her. She was not at her house, and there was no TV on, and Jamie had died years ago from suicide. She just couldn't handle Anne being gone, even though Laurie told her that she wasn't dead but missing. Her eyes met a pair of brown ones that she did not recognize at first, and then that's when she remembered what happened before she passed out. She had come all the way to Y/N's house to warn her about Michael being out, but she already knew that. In fact, she was fine with it, everything that the girl Tiffany had been telling people for years was true. Y/n really was in on all the killings, she wasn't forced at all. "You're awake!" Y/n said gleefully holding both of her hands up in a welcoming manner as if this was a big family reunion. Laurie's eyes instantly went to the knife in her hand, she noticed her looking at it and lowered her hands chuckling.

"Don't worry, it's not gonna be used on you." She said now holding her hands behind her back. Laurie noticed Michael standing behind her, like a lamp post, his hands were also behind his back like hers. If she wasn't in the situation was in right now, she would find this a bit funny and amusing. But Laurie was terrified, afraid for her life. She was now tied to a chair in a psychopath's house, someone she thought was innocent, and a victim like her to Michael's terror. But now she's learned the ugly truth, she was never a victim. And now Michael was here too, and there was no one to call for help, no one to rescue her, and no way to defend herself. "You're probably wondering why you're here.." Y/n was saying, now circling around her chair, Michael still stood there not moving, but his eyes never left Laurie. "Well, I guess you know why you're here, you came here all on your own. But you're probably wondering why you're still here, alive." She was now saying. "Everything Tiffany said was true." Laurie finally said, her voice sounded hoarse and croaky, her throat was dry. "You really are a-"

Before Laurie could finish, Y/n grabbed Laurie's hair and clutched  it tightly. "DON'T YOU EVER SPEAK LIKE THAT IN MY HOUSE AGAIN! THAT TIFFANY BITCH IS NOTHING BUT A LYING SLUT WHO WANTS TO MAKE A PROFIT OFF OF MY-"

Y/n paused for a moment, trying to figure out what to say, "Situation." She finally said in a hushed tone. Laurie was shocked by the sudden outburst and did not move, but stared at her in shock. Y/n cleared her throat trying to compose her posture once more and continued circling Laurie, as if that outburst never happened. "Situation?" Laurie repeated, now staring at Y/n like she had lost her mind. "You call killing a bunch of innocent civilians a situation?" she asked now getting angrier the more she talked. "How dare you talk back to me like that in my house! You should be thanking me right now! If I hadn't come in here sooner you'd be dead right now, because he was gonna kill you." Y/n said angrily pointing at Michael. Laurie didn't know what to say at this point, afraid that she'll make her angry and let Michael kill her, she knows she'd probably do it right now. Laurie swallowed and cleared her throat, trying to remain calm, "Why am I still alive then?" She asked as calmly as she could. Y/n sat down on the couch across from her, her eyes softened as she smiled at Laurie, making her squirm uncomfortably in her restraint.

"Because, Laurie." She said softly, and the tone of her voice surprisingly calmed Laurie down a bit. "you're family." She told her.

"What?" Laurie said, not believing what she just heard.

Even Michael look confused and was now tilting his head at her. Y/n got up, looking from Michael to Laurie Nervously, now wringing her hands together. "Look- maybe we can put this all behind us- we can move out to another state, and just all be a family." She said, it almost sounded like she was begging. Laurie stared at her agape, sure she must be off her rockers. But the look on her face showed that she was being very serious right now. "What do you mean, put this all behind us?" Laurie asked slowly and carefully, still processing what she just told her. "I want you guys to get along!" She said now loosing her patience and getting frustrated. "Stop playing this cat and mouse game!." She now looked up at Michael who still had his head tilted to the side. "Our daughter, she needs a family, a normal family. We can just put this all away and just be there for her-"
