It took Henry almost seven hours to reach London and it wasn't a pleasant flight for him. He had to endure pain over his operation site and not too mentioned his heart literally broken in pieces. The way Alex looked at him yesterday when he left to the study room, it made Henry wanted to take everything back and stayed in New York.

But here he was inhaling the cold damp London weather as his foot touched the ground of the RAF runway. He was greeted by the the Royal Secret Escorts with the black SUV when Henry stepped down from the plane. "Your Royal Highness, welcome home." The guy in a suit stood before him bowing him as a sign of respect. He nodded with a smiled on his face as he walked towards the car holding on to the pain he felt over his stomach. Slowly he moved but it took him forever for him to walk to the car and the guy noted the difficulties when he offered his arm for Henry to hang on.

"Thanks." Henry said as he grabbed the guy's arm and walked further. "I'm your new equerry sir, my name is Holden, great to be your service." The guy said as he helped Henry towards the car. "Apologies sir I was informed that you don't need a medical assistance. I would have them prepare a wheelchair for you at KP." He said grabbing the door handle for Henry.

"Nonsense, I'm fine." He said as he stepped into the car.

It was an hour drive which it cause Henry to regret every single decision he made since he left New York. If he knew it would be this painful to travel, he wouldn't have made this like a fool to himself. He exited the car after they opened the door for him and almost loss his balance. He had to grip the car hood for support but bless his equerry Holden who is ready to assist him just in time. "Lean on me sir." He said as he offered him his shoulder which took Henry by surprise.

Henry exhaled before he took his shoulder and he helped him inside the palace. As he walked in the palace, the staffs greeted him with welcome home greeting and a bow although Henry can almost see the pity on their faces. He was later then greeted by his mother Catherine who practically running into his arm.

"My dear boy." Catherine said pulling away from Henry when he groaned in pain after his mother collided them into a hug. "I'm so sorry. Are you feeling alright?" She asked bringing his blonde hair away from his sweating forehead. "I need to lie down." He said still leaning against his equerry. "Of course. Your beds is ready upstairs." She said and Henry tried to walk but as soon as he reached the steps, he stopped and cried. "I can't, I can't."

He whimpered as he let his equerry go and fell on the stairs steps. His back hits the steps as he laid on the staircase fighting for his breath. "It hurts, it hurts." Henry quotes as he clenched his shirt in his hand and his face is wet with tears and sweats.

Catherine order for the men in the palace to help carry Henry up to his bed and he suffered through all the process. He's literally begging in tears for the pain he had to endure when they helped him to bed like men in war. "My bag. My medicine in my bag." He instructs his equerry and he did. Seconds later he pulled a pill to his face with a glass of water as he gulped them down and waited, waiting for the medicine to work is not a good part either.

But slowly Catherine could see him fought his eyes into sleep which he eventually did.

It took Henry hours later before he woke up finding himself on his old bed at Kensington Palace and when he looked around, the memory of him and Alex fought in this room brought tears to his eyes. He sat up, wincing in pain over his abdomen, glad it has subsided a little. He trailed his gaze around his room remembering exactly when he told Alex he loves him that much that he didn't want him to leave.

The memory hits him hard in the heart he had to clutch his chest presently. He was later then greeted by soft knocks on the door and quickly wiped his tears away. "Enter." He instructed with his croaked voice.
