Bridget's POV

As I danced with Travis in the VIP tent of mom's concert, the excitement was electric. The crowd around us was a mix of fans, friends, and a few curious onlookers, but in that moment, it felt like it was just us having the time of our lives.
Travis was surprisingly good at keeping up with my moves, even when I broke into an impromptu twerk. We were both laughing, the music pulsing through us, creating our own little show. I glanced around and noticed that many people were watching us instead of mom on stage. It was weirdly exhilarating to be the center of attention, but in a fun and carefree way, not like the usual media frenzy that follows mom.
We spun, jumped, and even had a mock dance-off, egged on by the cheers and claps from the crowd. Travis was a natural, his energy infectious, and I found myself forgetting all about the world outside our little bubble. It was like we were stars of our own concert, with mom's music as our soundtrack.
Every now and then, I'd catch a glimpse of mom on stage, totally in her element, and my heart would swell with pride. Here we were, her family, celebrating and enjoying her music in our own unique way.
As the night went on, our dance moves got sillier and more exaggerated. I even caught Travis trying to moonwalk, which had me in stitches. It felt great to just let loose, be myself, and not worry about anything else.
I realized then that this wasn't just another night at one of mom's concerts. It was a moment of bonding with Travis, a chance to just be Bridget, the teenager, not Bridget, Taylor Swift's daughter. It was freeing, joyous, and an experience I knew I'd cherish forever.
From my spot in the VIP tent, I could see mom on stage, her eyes twinkling with mischief as she noticed the crowd's attention drifting towards Travis and me. She paused her performance, feigning offense, and playfully addressed the crowd.
"Oh I see someone else has you guys' attention tonight!" she laughingly exclaimed, her voice echoing through the speakers. The crowd laughed, turning their eyes back towards the stage.
I couldn't resist shouting back, a wide grin on my face. "No way, mom! We're the real divas here!" The crowd erupted into cheers and laughter, clearly enjoying the unexpected banter.
To my surprise, mom took the challenge up a notch. "Alright then, if you're such divas, why don't you come up here and show us all your talent?" she called out, waving towards us.
My heart skipped a beat. Go on stage? In front of all these people? I looked at Travis, who was already nodding enthusiastically, his eyes gleaming with excitement. The crowd was cheering us on, a sea of faces full of anticipation.
Gathering my courage, I grabbed Travis's hand, and we made our way towards the stage. My stomach was doing flips, but the excitement was undeniable. This was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to share the stage with mom, to be part of her world in a way I'd never imagined.
As we climbed onto the stage, the crowd went wild. I could feel their energy, their excitement, and it fueled my own. Travis and I exchanged a look - we were really doing this!
Mom stepped back, giving us the spotlight. The music kicked in, and Travis and I launched into our impromptu dance routine, our moves exaggerated and playful. The crowd was loving it, their cheers and claps creating a rhythm all their own.
Still on stage, under the bright lights and the roar of the crowd, Travis and I let loose. We twerked, we shimmied, we threw in some dramatic spins and even a mock sing-off, each move more outrageous than the last. The audience was eating it up, their energy feeding ours, creating this incredible cycle of excitement and joy.
I glanced over at mom, who was standing off to the side of the stage, laughing and clapping along with the crowd. Seeing her so happy, so proud, made my heart swell. This was more than just a silly dance-off; it was a moment of connection, of shared joy with the two people I loved most in the world.
As the song neared its end, Travis and I pulled out all the stops. We synchronized our moves, finishing with a dramatic pose, arms outstretched, as the music faded. The crowd erupted into applause and cheers, louder than anything I'd heard before.
Breathless and exhilarated, we bowed to the audience, their appreciation washing over us like a wave. Mom came over, her arms open wide, and pulled us both into a massive hug.
"You two are incredible!" she exclaimed, beaming. "I think you just stole the show!"
Travis laughed, his eyes sparkling. "We're just following in the footsteps of the best."
As we walked off the stage, hand in hand, the three of us together, I felt a deep sense of belonging and happiness. I was part of something special, a family that wasn't just defined by blood, but by love, support, and the joy of sharing these unforgettable moments. This wasn't just mom's concert anymore; it was a memory we had created together, a story we would tell for years to come. And as I looked up at the stars above, I knew deep down that these were the moments that truly mattered.
