He hurt Enid. Mate.
He Hurt Enid. Mate
He Hurt Enid! Mate!
He Hurt Mate! Enid!
Wednesday snarled when Enid had come to them, bloody, bruised, but still fighting. The rage from their previous fight with the Hyde returned, the inhuman call echoing through the eerie forest. Unnaturally long bony limbs wrapped themselves around the small wolf, their cloak of feathers used to hide the wolf as they gently licked at her wounds. They were in a moment of peace, waiting for their assailant to follow them.
The forest was too calm until it wasn't. Two sets of ears perked up at the sound of breaking branches. Wednesday uncovered the wolf with his cloak, releasing a soft purr and lightly touching noses with Enid, hoping to calm the anxious wolf.
The Hyde was smaller than them, hiding in the forestline. Wednesday grinned, bloodstained teeth revealed to the monster. The Hyde screeched angrily, able to recognize the scent of their most recent meal. While small and afraid of the forest's wrath, the creature was still loyal to its master and the man who had once been his father.
The green monster ran forward on Shaky legs, unbalanced with its one arm being used to charge forward and then swipe at Wednesday. The Addams heir took its imbalances as an opportunity, favoring the large wound it still sported. Wednesday stepped into the shadows, using the forest's ever-changing nature to dodge Hyde's attacks, climbing up trees and vanishing from the thing's line of sight. They watched from above as Enid toyed with it, ducking under swipes and using her smaller size to outmaneuver the Hyde. It chased her around the forest, snarling and barking like a rabid creature as it uprooted trees and kicked rocks from the ground with ease. Enid was quickly outmatched, trapped in a corner that wasn't even metaphorical. It was then that Wednesday recognized what Tyler was doing, leading Enid into a trap of fallen tree trunks and rocks that had been piled high.
The rage returned, their amusement of the chase now gone. They appeared again, the moon's bloody shine giving their spotty coat of mismatched furs a hellish reflection as they inched closer from behind the Hyde, bird-like talons entered his body first, piercing through his eyes and chest, they tore through the body, spraying blood onto both the forest floor and their nervous wolf. Teeth dug into his shoulder and ripped his arm from its place. His bones crushed easily beneath their jaws, his chest caving in as they stood on his torso, listening to the delightful crunching of bones and the squelching of organs as they made him suffer for hurting what was theirs. They lifted his pulped remains once finished, huffing softly as they presented it to Enid.
The golden wolf whined, shaking her entire body in an attempt to get the blood off. She sat down on the forest floor, releasing a sound that seemed like a surprised yip. She was beginning to shift back, uncomfortably so if the screams were any indication. Wednesday immediately went to her side, their larger bestial form covering the naked and prone blond as she returned to her human form.
"O- Ow... Wedns, we've gotta find the others... C- Come on!" Enid struggled to get up, so Wednesday found themselves shifting back to human form, staring into Enid's beautiful eyes. They saw how she glanced uncomfortably at the corpse of Tyler Galpin, but they found that they didn't care.
"Do you require my coat?" Wednesday was already beginning to remove their uniform coat, holding it out to Enid almost nervously. The shy wolf took it, wrapping it around herself and starting to stand, leaning heavily against Wednesday's side.
