Chapter 9

When Atharva left my parents scolded me stating that I have already turned Atharva and his family against them. I didn't care for their words I just went to my room and decided to do some work.

Then Atharva messaged me. After chatting with him for a while I slept.

NEXT MORNING

I woke up early and got ready to go to work. When I reached there I came to know that my boss had returned. I was a bit nervous because this will be the first time I will be working in his presence.

I greeted him and gave him his coffee. Ungrateful ass. Can't he greet me back and say thank you. Hmph. Mood off early in the morning. Then I said his schedule and there were meetings back to back. I didn't even had time to have lunch.

It was evening when I came near my cabin. There was a letter on my table. It was addressed to me. I opened it. It was from Atharva. I was surprised.

Dear Aaru ( hope I can call you that ),

I hope you smiled when you saw this letter. I wanted to do something different. So I decided to write a letter to you. I hope none of your previous boyfriend have done this. I had a question to ask.

Will you go on a date with me this weekend ? I will make it worth for your time. If you want to go, mark for yes or else mark for no and repost it.

This guy. I was laughing so hard. He is like a child asking for a chocolate. I marked for yes and decided to post it while going for home.

When I was still smiling, my boss entered without knocking. That guy has no manners.

"Ms.Sharma I don't pay you to stand and giggle like a school girl." He scolded me. I got angry. It's already time for me to go home and this guy is scolding me. But what to do he is the one paying me.

" Sorry sir." I apologized. Even though there was no reason for me to apologise.

" There is one more work I want you to do. And then you can leave." He said.

"Okay sir."
I completed the work and decided to head home. On my way I put the letter in post box and went home. And I decided to call Kriti and informed about everything, that girl got excited and was deciding which dress to wear for my wedding. Such a caring friend she is.

I don't know what my boss have against me. I am the only one in the office who gets scolded by him. With others he speaks like a normal person.

I reached home. I was thinking whether to call Atharva or not. Then I decided let me call him. Within few rings he picked up the call.

"Hello" He said in a deep voice. I was fangirling over his voice that I forgot to reply to him.

"Hello can you hear me ?" He asked.

"Hello. Yeah I can hear you."

"So what are you doing ? And did you like my surprise."

"I came home now. And yeah I liked it."

"It's so late. You came now. Don't roam around so late at night."

"Yeah I would return early itself but today my boss gave me extra work. So it became late."

"Okay next time if you stay late at work give me a call I will be there to pick you up."

"Okay. Did you have your dinner?"

" No I was waiting for a important letter. So I forgot to have dinner." He teased me.

"Atharva..."

"Yeah I had dinner. You also have dinner and sleep its late."

We spoke for a little while and I had dinner. I am feeling someone's following me. I don't know if it's true or not but I have this guy feeling that someone's following me. Maybe I should stop seeing stalker movies and series.

I was reading King of Greed novel. I thought to read few chapters and sleep but that few chapters had turned into half book and it was 1 am. Oh no I will get very less sleep and I will be grumpy the whole day. Sigh. Why am I like this ? But I have set my priorities right. Books over sleep.

It's a very difficult thing to choose. After reading few more chapters I slept.

Next day my parents said to get married fast. They are not able to look after me itseems, even though they are not the one looking after me. But I just agreed with them and went to work. I decided to go shopping in the evening because I don't have a nice dress to wear for the date. I will ask him where we are going then I will buy the dress.

With this thought I went to office. Nothing unusual happened. Today my boss also didn't snap at me. When I came down I saw Atharva standing with one more guy.

I went towards them.
"Hey what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Hi. I just wanted to give you something." He said.
"Will you introduce me or not?" That guy said.
"Shut up. This idiot here is my friend Gowtham." He introduced us.
"Hi. Nice to meet you." I said.
"Nice to meet you too."
"I just wanted to give to this. If you don't mind can you wear this for our date? " He said giving me a bag. I took it and said thank you.

We talked for some more time and he dropped me at home. Gowtham was a funny guy. He would simply irritate Atharva and make him angry.

I reached home and got freshen up. I decided to sleep early because yesterday I didn't sleep properly. I got a notification alert. I got excited to see. I thought it is Atharva but it was from an unknown number.

I am watching you.

What's happening? Maybe this is a prank.

Then I decided to sleep but somewhere in my mind I knew that it was not a prank.

So I decided to update guys as it's diwali.
So one more character I introduced i.e none other than Gowtham.
Trouble in paradise. Is it a prank or something else.....
It's for me to update and for you'll do dot dot dot....
So that's all guys next update tomorrow.
I am writing a bit short chapters. If you'll feel it's too short you'll can suggest me.
Because many people including me don't like reading large chapters.
