Chapter 27

Aarohi pov

ENGAGEMENT DAY

It was total chaos. From morning all the preparations are going on. It will be a very small gathering in their backyard which can occupy around 50 people. I went there to take care of the decorations. Even my parents are taking care of things. Or acting.

After the proposal and confessions, Atharva and I have grown more closer than before. We are understanding each other in a different level.

I was getting ready in my house. My parents and my stepsister had already reached there. After getting ready I will be going there in a car.

I was sitting in front of the mirror. I was wearing a blue pastel colour lehenga. I told the makeup artist to keep my makeup minimal. And also I was wearing the anklet Atharva gave.

This will be one of my life changing scene in my life. I know I will be happy with Atharva. There will be ups and downs but we both will face it together. I have faith in this marriage and I know I will live happily from now. With a family.

I then went to the puja room and prayed to God. After praying for few minutes and thanking God for everything I went outside. A car was already waiting outside for me. I sat inside the car and the driver started taking me to the venue. I was so nervous and my legs were shaking due to anxiety. I was taking deep breaths to calm myself. Then I saw a bouquet of lilies with a note with it which I hadn't noticed when I came.

I know your nervous but everything's gonna be okay. We will be starting a new chapter together. I love you.

I smiled at the note and calmed myself. He knows what I will feel even before me saying anything. I felt peace knowing that I made the right decision and gave him a chance or else I would have lost a diamond.

I was imagining my future with him. How we will be living together, one day he will cook and one day me. Then also I thought about doing something in fashion industry. I have done enough savings to invest in clothes and all. And there are many things I would like to do. This will be a key to my freedom and I am intending to use it to my fullest.

I was so lost in thinking about my future that I didn't see the driver going in a different route. He was going in opposite direction.

"Sir I think you are going in awrong route." I said. I was getting a very bad vibe. I know something's going to happen.

He didn't say anything and increased the speed. Then I tried to open the door to see I can jump but he had locked it. Then I tried to pull his hand from the steering wheel. I know it's stupid but I didn't know what to do. I didn't even have my phone with me.

I was trying to divert his attention but it was not helping. Then he pushed with such a force that my head got banged to the window. Black dots start to cover my vision. Then I fell into the world of darkness not knowing what is stored for me further.

Atharva pov

I was very excited today. This is will be the first step we both will be taking to start a new life. Everyone were excited. The house was filled with joy and chaos.

I was getting ready in my room. I have to look my best today. I have no doubt that my Aaru will be looking gorgeous. I should be able to match her standards atleast for some level. I know I can't reach her level because she is amazing but she don't know it.

She is one of the strongest woman I have met and I will cherish her my whole life. And I will show her importance to her. I will teach her to put herself first. And I will treat her like a queen. Oops my bad. She is already one.

I was wearing a pastel blue color sherwani. Even though I have not seen her dress , I know the colour of the dress. My mother has taken the responsibilities of matching both our dresses. But the dress selection is made by Aaru. She was very specific about each and every detail of the dress. It was custom made so each and everything is decided by her. I know she have degree in fashion designing. Hope she will do something which she like after our marriage.

After getting ready I went outside near the stage. Then I saw everyone's face and it was tensed. By seeing their I came to know that there is something wrong. And I know who is in trouble.

"What happened?" I asked anxiously.

"Aarohi didn't come yet." My mother said worried.

"Maybe she is late. She will be here any minute. " I said even though I myself didn't believe it.

"We checked the cars location and we lost the connection after few minutes. We are not able to find the car and driver." My brother answered anxiously.

After he said that me along with my father, brother and Gowtham went to the warehouse.

In few minutes we reached there. We tried searching for the car but we were not able to find it. Then we checked the cctv near her house and came to know the driver waiting there was different then the one we sent.

After searching for many hours we didn't find a single clue. Then I remembered about the anklet. I hope she is wearing it. I opened the tracker and saw for my luck she was wearing it. Then I got her location.

"I got her location. Come on we are going to get her as soon as possible." I said taking a gun with me.

"Atharva wait we have to make a plan. We just can't go there without having a back up." My father said and everyone agreed.

I know he was right so I didn't protested much and agreed with them. I have to act rationally now. Or else I may loose her. Also I shouldn't waste much time now. Don't know in what situation she will be.

Then we started making a plan. And made sure we had enough back up. We didn't forget our family members because this is the time they can attack easily. After making a whole plan we left at night. So it will be easy for us. We had glasses which will help us to see in the dark clearly.

We started our journey to rescue Aaru. The whole way I was very anxious. I don't want her to lose her. When I get her back i won't let her step outside our home.

After few hours we reached the location. I hope this is the right one. It was a normal house. Nothing like I expected. I thought it will be an abandoned house in the middle of forest. Then silently we went near the house.

The windows were covered and we were unable to see anything inside. And I went around the house to see any other entry I can go. But except for one window I didn't find anything. And there were no one around the house. It was suspicious. Did the stalker thing we won't be able to find him or what ?

"I didn't find anyone here." I said.

"Let's break the door and go inside. We don't have anyway." Gowtham said.

We broke the door and went inside. Everything was normal. It was a simple house where a small family lived. We then searched the whole house to find nothing. But we are in the exact location Aaru is there but I am not finding anything here.

Then when I walked further the floor creaked. I checked to see what it is, to find a secret door there. I broke it and opened it to see a tunnel inside.

Then I jumped first followed by my brother and Gowtham. My father will be ourside to watch out here. Then we found many people guarding. We 3 took care of them one by one without making any noise.

We found a room. I opened it and what I saw made me shock. I just stood there stupified.
