Chapter 15

It's been few days but I am still getting chills when I remember that day. It was so terrifying. I am still getting nightmares every night. I am scared to sleep because he is haunting me in my dreams and has spoiled my peace.

After that I was standing like a statue. I don't even remember what happened after seeing that horrifying scene. Atharva made some calls and his security team arrived before I blinked my eyes. And he dropped me home and went to investigate about that stalker.

He has not revealed anything about that stalker to me. Since that incident had passed, he has not spoken with me properly. He is so busy these days, managing his work and finding the stalker. He has no time eat and sleep. But he is so determined to find the stalker.

As usual I am going for work everyday but Atharva has appointed some bodyguards. But these guys stand from afar and guard me. Sometimes I won't even know if they are present or not.

And I decided to have lunch with Kriti today. It's been a while I haven't spoken with her. I called her and she said she will be coming near my office. After calling her I was doing my work. Nowadays my boss has been very grumpy. Don't what happened to this guy.

It was lunch break and I was waiting in the cafe. As usual Kriti was late. She came and sat next to me. She didn't have her usual smile on her face. She had a tension as though someone or something is bothering her.

"Hey what happened to you?"

"What happened to me? I should ask that question to you. What's happening in your life ? So many things have happened in your life and you haven't shared anything with me."

"It's not like that. Everything happened in a hurry , I didn't have time for myself to process things."

"Do you think I don't care? Why didn't you share your problems with me? Am I that bad friend?" She asked me. And I knew she was hurt.

"No you are a great friend. Like I said everything happened fast."

"Wait how did you come to know about everything? Who informed you ?"

"I-I some-how came to know. But that's not important. Next time anything happens you tell me. Okay ?"

"Yeah I will inform you." I was so grateful to have a friend like her.

After that we talked for some time and she got a call from her boss so she wemt back. Even I went to my office. My boss is acting weird these days. He won't directly with anyone. He has kept a bodyguard and he is the mediator between us and our boss. Even I haven't seen him from many days. Don't know what's wrong with him.

It was evening and my work was done so I decided to go home. When I went home my sweet stepsister was watching tv. She called me but I ignored her and ran towards my room.

I got freshen up and decided to call Atharva but he didn't pick up my call. I don't know what has happened to this guy. After sometime I received a message him saying he wanted me to meet tomorrow. His text was serious. Do you guys also have the habit to assume about a person emotions through their text.

Yes I am that person. I overthink by reading their message. I know I am weird.

The stalker has not sent any message to me since that incident. And I am scared of his silence. I don't know what havoc he will cause in my life. Already my life is a mess and I am starting to feel happy now. But this guy is trying to spoil it.

After overthinking for a while and spoiling my already bad day, note the sarcasm guys, I decided to sleep. I just closed my eyes, my phone vibrated. I thought it must be Atharva and got excited. But it was not him.

I will kill him

I got scared and I tried calling Atharva but he was not picking up the call. Then I was not knowing what to do. I didn't even have their parents number. I tried calling him the whole night and it was already morning. I got ready and decided to go to his house.

I sent a mail asking for a leave and decided to go his house. I was scared the whole way. I don't think I can live without him. And also knowing I am the reason for his misery, I can't live with that guilt. I was getting all kind of worst scenarios in my mind. With all this thoughts I didn't even know when I reached his house.

I paid the driver and went towards the gate. There were so many security procedures I had to go through. I was scared and angry at the same time. I was angry with all this procedures , I am dying to see him and they are taking their sweet ass time to these things.

After everything I went inside. I don't know anyone here. I tried calling him but this no.1 bullshit guy is not picking up the call. Don't he have manners to inform me? I am calling him since last night. I was waiting in the living area, when his father came. I ran towards him.

" What happened to him? He is not picking up my call." I asked him. My voice was shaking so much. I was on the verge of crying.

"Don't worry beta. He is fine. He just met with a small accident. So he is taking rest."

When I heard the word accident I felt like my world stopped. I couldn't hear anything else. I just stood there. His father was speaking something but I couldn't hear anything.

"Do you want to see him? He is in his room." I just nodded my head and followed him. His room was somewhere upstairs. I felt like a robot when I was following him. I don't think I can live with myself if the impact of the accident his more.

We reached a room with huge doors. His father opened the door. An old lady was seating on a chair and feeding him something. I think that's his mother.

When I saw him, it broke my heart seeing him in this condition. I was just standing there not moving. My eyes was filled with tears but I was trying not to cry here in front of everyone. He gestured me to come near him.

But I just stood near the door. His parents went outside giving us privacy. I went and sat on the chair his mother previously sat. I was just sitting and staring him.
