Chapter 33

Aarohi pov

When I was so lost in seeing the lake he had set up a picnic near a tree. It was not very shocking but you know me guys I am dramatic. Then 'Until i found you' song started playing from the bluetooth speaker.

He came towards me and forwarded his hands. I placed my right hand on his and he pulled me towards him. Then his other hand traveled towards my waist and I was keeping one more hand on his shoulders.

We both were slowing swaying to the music looking into each others eyes. We both were so lost in each others eyes. Our eyes both speaking thousand of words that sometimes even our mouth fails to convey it. His eyes filled with so much love and adoration for me, I was so overwhelmed.

I hope even my eyes are portraying the same. I am so proud to call this man mine. He is everything I didn't know I needed. After everything I faced I didn't had any hope left in humanity nor in men. But he came to my life and crashed the walls I had built around me.

After dancing for few minutes , we both sat down.

"I wanted to say something." He said blinking his eyes nervously. Why is he nervous?

"What is it?" I asked thinking what it could be that is making him nervous.

Is he going to say that he is in mafia. Of course he is. But I tend to forget that.Or is he werewolf or a vampire?

Girl please stop reading the novels.

What that could be the truth who knows? Maybe he thinks I am so innocent and is thinking how to break this news to me.

I think I heard something wrong.You and innocent in same sentence. Nah.

I am innocent. It will be very easy to kidnap me. He have to just show some books and I will be going behind them.

Well...hate to break it to you sweetheart but that's not innocence. You are just stupid. *Smirks*

I was thinking what it could be that is making him nervous, when he placed a novel on my lap.

"What is it?" I asked seeing the novel. Hmm it has a nice cover.

"A book i presume?" He said lifting his one eyebrow and smiling at me sarcastically.

"I know dumbass. What I am asking is why are you giving me this?"

It's a book from one of my favourite author. He has released only one novel but that became famous. He has not revealed anything about himself. The book name he wrote was 'My love'.

A/n: Do you guys remember it's the same book written by our hero? And it was read by our heroine.

"Actually...umm I don't know how to say this." Why was he stuttering so bad. What's happening and why he gave this book. This guy will kill me from curiosity.

"Atharva you know you can share anything with me and I won't judge. You know that right?" I said rubbing his back to calm him.

"Well here goes nothing. I am the author of that book."

"Oh that's it. I was scared for a second there. " I sighed in relief then after one eternity later i realised what he said.

"Wait what!" I asked astonished and looking in his face to see if he is joking or something. Then I remembered something.

"I know today's April 1st. I am not falling for this. "

"I am saying the truth. See at the end I have signed it."

It was true there was his signature in that book. I was confused when did this not so romantic guy got an idea to right a novel that too a love story.

"I didn't want to keep any secret from you. So I am saying this. "

And then he went telling everything that had happened and how i inspired him to write a novel and all. I don't know right now to be happy for his gesture. Or be creeped out.

I know if I was normal I would have chosen the second one but you know me guys I am a hopeless romantic. And I have turned colour blind when it comes to him. So I chose the first one.

"I don't know what to say." I said looking at him for a while then at the book. I did it for a while.

"I know it may sound a little creepy." He said awkwardly.

"Umm little?" I questioned smiling at me like that joker emoji.

"Okay a lot. But i didn't knew what to do at that time. So i started writing and it turned out to be this. But the second novel is based on whatever has happened till now between us." He said explaining everything in one breath.

"And also it's only for you. I am not publishing this. "

I saw the cover the book name was 'Imperfectly perfect'.

"What's the meaning of this title?"

"When you came into my life it was a turning point in my life. I have done many things I am not proud of and I was just living for the sake of living. Then you came and changed everything. I started seeing life in a different way.
And when I met you , you were this person who was actually not you. With everything you went through it made you into this person you, yourself didn't recognise. Then I saw the real you with me and I am very happy that you found yourself. We were just to imperfect people. Together we healed each other and made us the person we are today.
So I felt this title will be perfect. Just like us.

I know we will fight with each other and sometimes we may feel it's difficult. But at the end of the day whatever happens we will make it work. That's why we are perfect. In my opinion, perfect means not doing things how people expect us to do or following the same stereotypes everyone follow. Perfect is something which we will give you satisfaction and peace after you have done something.
I think we both are this kind of people. So will you be by my side till our breath leave our body, I have feeling that we both will make a pretty good team.
When I saw you for the first time you took my heart, soul and my breath away. And nothing's being mine ever since. Will you do the honour and share your heart and soul with me? I promise to keep it safe so that no one not even I can harm it." He completed and forwarded his hands.

I just launched myself at me. I was a sobbing mess. He was just rubbing my back and consoling me. He knew that these are happy tears so he didn't tried to stop me.

"Everything's yours from day one. I am yours."

Then I kissed him. The kiss was slow and passionate. We were kissing as though we had all the time in the world. There was a different level of understanding between us.

We kissed till we were need of oxygen. Then we broke the kiss and just sat there for a while.

After that he took me to a planetarium where we both had so much fun. From day after tomorrow wedding preparations starts so, we both are spending time together as unmarried couple for few moments.

It was 9 at night when he dropped me home and went.
