"Two tickets for the 9.30 show?" Yoongi frowns, checking the tickets in his hand.
"You know I am busy right, Jimin?"

"I know hyung, but can't you please just spend some time with me hyung?" He requests, "please hyung" with puppy eyes.

"Ugh okay, fine" Yoongi sighs. He was a sucker for those eyes. He could never say no to Jimin anyways. Although, he had decided to spend less time with Jimin, it only made him hopeful and want the younger more.

Jimin has broken up just recently, he definitely didn't want to be any kind of rebound that Jimin was looking for, which by the way he always did. He had hooked up with Taemin, his neighbour, after his breakup last time.

For Yoongi it was simple, either be all in or not at all. He hated those mixed feelings. Being stuck between we're just friends but there's something more than just friends kinda situation. He didn't like complicating things so much.

It just hurt so much knowing that you've been friendzoned to a point where it's probably irreversible now. Jimin always talked about the guys around him that he'd consider to date, for that matter even his friends, but he never once talked about Yoongi.

Yoongi was his bestfriend, he was the first person Jimin would tell anything and everything to. Always a priority, but it was never more than friendship from Jimin's end. Atleast that's what Yoongi knew.

"Yayy, we're gonna have so much fun hyung" he was excited already for the night.

"Ofcourse" Yoongi nodded.

He knew what was happening. Everytime Jimin went through a breakup, he came back to yoongi. Not that Yoongi minded because as a friend he made sure he was always there when Jimin needed him but that didn't really help with his growing crush everytime they were together spending time.

Yoongi was waiting outside Jimin's building to pick him up for their show.
When he saw Jimin walking towards him, he quickly looked away. Jimin was just too pretty. Yoongi wanted to avoid the unwanted thoughts. He sat back in the car, taking a deep breath.

"Hyung" Jimin smiles so big it almost melts Yoongi in seconds.

"Jimin-ah" he smiles back at the younger.

"You look sooo good hyung" he says opening the door to get inside the car.

Yoongi cannot help but blush a little on hearing that. He looks extra cute when he's shy and red. He had put in some extra efforts to get ready for tonight. He was glad he did.

"You look pretty as always Jiminie" He said.
Jimin did not shy away at yoongi's compliment, because he was so used to people complementing him, especially Yoongi. He just smiled at him.

"Let's take a selfie hyung" he holds up the phone and clings onto Yoongi's arm. It was very normal for them but a third person wouldn't say so.

They drive to the cinema and get on their seats. Yoongi buys a large tub of popcorns and some nachos.

During the movie, Jimin almost involuntarily entangles his arm around Yoongi's. He rested his head on Yoongi's shoulder when the scenes were soft and romantic in the movie.

Yoongi felt anxious. He wasn't new to Jimin being all over him but it made him so anxious. Jimin's scent was so alluring, Yoongi had to fight his crazy thoughts. He wanted to hold him so close. Never let go of the younger but he just didn't want to be heartbroken.

....

Yoongi was completing his work when Hoseok and Namjoon his co-workers who were also his friends, stopped by his desk.

"Here" Hoseok offers the cup of coffee to Yoongi.

Yoongi looks up at him and smiles "I needed it, thanks" he relaxes back in his chair.

"Staying extra again?" Namjoon asks.

"Yeah, I have to go out tomorrow" he says.

"A date?" Namjoon wonders.

"No" he sighs. "I'm going shopping with Jimin tomorrow" he mumbles softly. He knew they weren't going to react very well on hearing that.

"Yoongi, are you serious!?" Hoseok sounds frustrated.

"Yeah, look I know what you're gonna say but I cannot say no to him" Yoongi says.

Hoseok stands there angry. Yoongi knows his friends are right. He shouldn't hangout with Jimin so much when he cannot stop feeling things for the younger. He knew they only cared for him.

"Confess to him then" hoseok says, voice pretty serious.

Yoongi's eyes snap at him "w-what?"

"You heard me" hoseok fold his arms over his chest.

"Yeah right, just tell him you like him" Namjoon supports.

Yoongi laughs. "I obviously am not doing any of that"

"Yoongi why're you being such a coward?" Why's it that hard?" Hoseok's tone came off as rude but Yoongi didn't take offence. He knew Hoseok.

"Because he obviously won't reciprocate, he-" Yoongi breathes, "he only sees me as his bestfriend" he closes his eyes. Namjoon pats on Yoongi's back and Hoseok's lips curling down.

Hoseok grabs the chit block and a pen from his desk, he writes a number and name on it, handing it to Yoongi. "Go on a date tomorrow, instead of shopping with Jimin"

Yoongi takes it, "I'll think about it"

....

"Beomseok" Yoongi reads out the name on the chit he got from Hoseok.

He hums to himself looking at the name for a while before taking his phone out to dial the number.

He talks to beomseok and fixes their date for tomorrow.

He calls Jimin up to cancel their shopping plan. It was a task. He doesn't remember cancelling on Jimin every and now he was doing exactly that, it was going to be difficult.

"Hyung don't do this, please come with me" Jimin whines.
"I could have Jimin-ah, but" he hesitates a little, "I-I have a date tomorrow"

"Oh! A date?" Jimin sounds surprised.

There was a good long pause on the line.
Yoongi never dated anyone for so long, it was actually shocking to him that he was going on a date.
