Yoongi was returning home from work, his phone buzzed with reminder.
Game night with Jiminie
Yoongi smiles, it was one of their best past times.
He texts Jimin reminding him to come over at his place.
Jimin-ah
Game night, 7pm, my place
Mom is cooking your favourite food
Yoongi frowns when he gets a reply from Jimin, so unexpected.
He was always the excited one for game nights. He would never skip it.
Cannot make it today, sorry:(
Yoongi calls Jimin immediately. He had to know what happened, how could he cancel like that.
"Is everything okay" he asks.
"Yes, I'm just busy tonight"
"Busy? On our game night? Be serious"
"I am serious, Can I not be busy hyung?"
"Not on our game night Jiminie" Yoongi whines.
"Are you whining like a kid now" Jimin giggles on the call.
Yoongi loves the sound of those giggles.
"Please don't cancel Jiminie" Yoongi requests.
Jimin holds his breath for a second. "I'm sorry hyung, cannot make it"
A small "okay" leaves Yoongi's mouth before keeping the call.
Yoongi was quite all evening then. They both always waited for game nights. There were times when Yoongi was so slumped with work and yet he would never skip their game night.
He didn't like the idea of Jimin skipping their game night.
Jimin himself hated how he cancelled the plan. He had new games ready for this time. He glances at his phone, he wanted to go but then he looked back at his laptop, started completing his work. As much as he wanted to be playing games with Yoongi right now, it was better this way.
....
Yoongi smiles opening his door, "hey"
"Hello hyung" beomseok smiles back, "here, for you" he hands him a small bag as he enters.
"What's in this" Yoongi peeks to look in and let's out a small gasp, "woah, what's this for?" He takes out the bottle of liquor, looking at it.
"My dad got it from Spain, after meeting you last time, he insisted on gifting you one" beomseok smiles.
Yoongi's mother waves at him from the living room, beomseok greets her with a box full of chocolates, again from Spain.
"Oh that was not necessary dear" Mrs. Min speaks, delighted by the sweet gesture.
"My parents insisted, please" he said sending a sweet smile.
They go inside Yoongi's room, "what is all this, were you gaming?" Beomseok asks.
Yoongi chuckles, "I would be if Jimin was here, it's our game night but he cancelled" Yoongi pouts a little.
