POV Author:
Hi.I've just finished it and I'd like your opinion on it.
Ps. I'll be traveling next week so there won't be a chapter. Sorry.Bye.
Khao had fallen asleep on the firm chest of the vampire who had made him come more times than he thought physically possible.
Khao knew he had slept with a smile on his face.
So when he woke up in a cold sweat and shivering, he got a shock of reality.
When he noticed some of the sheets starting to burn, he despaired. He couldn't let that happen again, not there.
Getting up quickly, Khao concentrated on his left fist and, with the speed and practice of his training, broke it.
Containing his scream and focusing on the pain, khao managed to contain himself. It took longer than khao would have liked to admit, but fortunately he managed it. Standing completely naked, he remembered where he was and quickly looked around, hoping that the vampire hadn't witnessed the scene.
When he finally realized that he was alone, he sighed with relief.
It was getting worse, and using his magic to heal himself wouldn't help at all, but he had no other option. Khao looked around the room as he finished his healing spell.
His clothes were folded beside the bed, he dressed quickly and read the note that had been left on them:
"Emergency council meeting.
I'll be back soon. "
Khao didn't know if it was the fact that he had just used his powers or the mention of the council, but he ran to the bathroom to avoid vomiting on Kanaphan's expensive carpets.
He needed to get a grip on himself, first the nightmare that had almost made him burn the bed, now this. Khao knew what he needed, Win would kill him if he knew, he had promised his friend never to use it again, but if he thought about it over the last 48 hours he had been the reason for his best friend's boyfriend being kidnapped and tortured so he would probably hate him anyway.
Determined, Khao cleaned himself up, left the bathroom, got rid of the burnt sheets, and headed towards the place where he hoped First would have stored his things.
Khao had to be quick, he knew that after his explosion of power the night before, the vampires no longer trusted him and he knew that if he was caught in the clan leader's office, he would have no excuses.
Fortunately, his backpack was easily laid out on the table, so he didn't even bother with the contents, he quickly look for the small pocket inside where he had kept what he was looking for, but to his surprise it was empty.
— Damn. Why aren't here? - grumbled Khao
— Looking for this? - asked the vampire who was now standing between Khao and the door, expressionless.
First stared at Khao waiting for an answer, showing him the silver ring.
Khao sighed. It was obvious that he had gone through his things, after all he was First kanaphan, what was a small invasion of privacy for him.
— Where did you get it?
The boy thought of several ways he could lie, but he didn't want to lie to the vampire any more, he knew he was in too involved for that.
— My mom gave it to me. - Maybe he couldn't lie anymore, but he didn't know how First would react to the whole truth.
His mother, First thought, so he was the son of one of Rattanak's followers, that was the only way his mother could have had access to that ring, First concluded, upset.
— And you? Are you a disciple too? Do you follow his damn ideas too? - shouted First.
— Damned ideas? - Khao laughed in frustration and annoyance - what exactly do you know about his ideas or him?
First was nervous. He had just discovered that he was in love with that man, only to discover that he was a fanatic.
— Damn yes, the idea of using the power of auras for one's own benefit is insane and dangerous, I was there, I saw what such power can do. - he shouted before taking a deep breath and lowering his tone - You're too young to understand that.
— That's enough. - Khao interrupted furiously - You only know what you want to know, your side of the story isn't the whole story. You say you were there, well you know my mother was there too, and she told me what really happened. Bane Rattanakitpaisarn was a scientist, he loved experimenting with new magic and discovering new spells, his dicipules as you call them were just curious students, wizards who weren't afraid of the unknown.
— And yes, he had a theory about auras, but it had nothing to do with power, no, he believed that there was a way to remove the aura after a possession, a way in which the shell didn't have to die. He want to help.
Fisrt listened restlessly. He widened his eyes at the last piece of information.
— But he had never considered testing this theory because he knew the dangers. Twenty years ago, after the earthquake, he had no choice, his wife was possessed and his theoretical spell was the only way out to save both her and the child she was carrying - Khao kept his voice steady and loud so that First could hear every word clearly. He might not have wanted to believe it, but it was the truth. - The process was painful and almost killed all three of them. But he did it, he extracted the aura but couldn't contain it and that's when he decided to absorb the energy, he was trying to sacrifice himself for his family when you showed up, breaking into the house and killing everyone in your path without even trying to understand what was going on. To defend his students and his family he fought back and maybe so much power drove him crazy, maybe he really was out of control in the end but he paid the price for it, didn't he?
Khao approached First with hatred in his gaze and took the ring from his hand.
— So don't come calling him or those who believe in him damned, you of all people have no right to speak like that about my father. Please don't forget to vote and coment. ❤️
