Guess who is back ?

It took me a while, but I'm back !
Thanks to everyone who waited.
As I said before, I intend to and will finish this story, so don't give up on it or on me 🙏🏼
I still don't know when I'll post the next one, but I promise to update it at least every month from now on (the chapters will probably be shorter).
But that's what I can do.
Comment a lot, I miss the comments ... 🥺

The last thing First remembered before being attacked and thrown out of his own room by a human wielding a wooden stake was hearing his heart stop, an interesting fact if you take into account that as a vampire his heart hadn't beaten for hundreds of years.
Standing facing the closed door of the room, he kept replaying Khao's last words over and over in his head, perhaps the fright had made him hallucinate...
Being taken away from his stupor by his employees, the vampire decided that if this was his reality, he would make the most of every opportunity, and went off smiling like a fool through the corridors.
Despite everything, he still had a chance with the short sorcerer.
Khao, however, was sure he would die any second. After finally opening up to the vampire, the young man was expecting anything but a furious Win storming into the room armed with a wooden stake, threatening to shove it where the sun wouldn't shine if the kidnapping bloodsucker didn't get away from his friend. While an equally frightened and embarrassed Brigth accompanied him, apologizing as they ushered the vampire out without him being able to say a word.
- Was that really necessary? - Khao asked when he heard the doors slam.
- Shut up. - replied Win, pulling off his blanket and thoroughly checking every part of his friend's body. - Are you all right? Are you hurt?
- I'm fine - announced Khao - just a bit weak, you know.
- Good. - said Win, and began to slap Khao repeatedly.
- What were you thinking? - slap
- First kanaphan ??? - slap
- He wouldn't even remember you, would he? - slap
- Well look around , you are in is house - slap
- You got my boyfriend involved with vampires - slap
- He could have died - slap
- Cant u help me ? - ask khao to Brigth who was watching both from a safe distance .
- You're alone in this.
- And what the fuck were you thinking when you revealed your identity - slap
- you could have died ! - he shouted
- Many could have died - interrupted Khao
- That soft heart of yours is going to be the death of me, you know - said a calmer Win,
hugging the little one. - But seriously, vampires? Do you have to go that far for them?
- They're not so bad.
Win rolled his eyes.
- I guess when you're sitting on their boss they're not supposed to be.
Khao widened his eyes in surprise and embarrassment. Win didn't have a filter, but sometimes he went too far
- And don't even bother denying it. - Win was no fool, this was clearly the private quarters of the mansion's owner. - Besides, I know you.
Luckily for Khao, before he could say anything, there was a knock on the door.
- If it's the leeche, go away -Win shouted.
- It's not, the smell is human - Brigth pointed out in surprise.
- It's Sea, - was said from behind the door.
- Come in. - Khao answered
It was funny for Khao to watch two worlds collide, to see Win realize that there were two humans here at the same time as he witnessed the brothers having to deal with their best friend's bad personality while trembling at Brigth's presence, a fact they disguised well but the discomfort was visible in the older eyes.
- I wanted to thank you - said Sea
- You don't have to
- Khao.
- You saved my life, of course I do - announced Fourth, throwing himself into an embrace with the sorcerer.
Khao groaned, still recovering from Win's attack.
- Fourth !
- I'm fine. - Khao replied to Sea and returned the younger man's embrace
Every time he saw the boy, he was always cheerful and smiling. Seeing the teenager worried was hard, he remembered the times when he was younger and had to deal with all his problems alone.
- You were pretty badass there, - the younger man continued, - The way you finished them all off was awesome.
Win frowned in concern, but preferred not to comment yet so as not to dampen the boy's spirits.
He then went on to analyze the older one, who even though he smiled at the younger man's behavior was completely tense, moving his hands restlessly and seemed to be keeping as far away from Brigth as possible, who didn't notice the such behavior.
- I had no idea that Kanaphan had chosen such an impressive partner.
- Partner? - grunted Win
- That's enough. - Sea interrupted, covering the younger boy's mouth. - You need to learn to keep your mouth shut and stay away from adult business.
- I forgot to introduce you - said Khao quickly, trying to change the subject - Win, Brigth these are Fourth and Sea, they're brothers and they live here in the mansion. Boys, these are Win, my best friend, and Brigth, his boyfriend.
Sea takes his hand away from his brother's mouth and cordially waves to Win but avoids the gaze of Brigth, who finally notices the older man's discomfort and shyly stands behind his boyfriend, moving away from the human.
- What do you mean? They live here?
- Please tell me they're not here as some kind of blood slaves, because if that's the case I swear I'll make a bat puree with everyone here.
He shouted, reaching out and dramatically wielding his stake once more, only to be held back gently by his boyfriend
- Oh God, no! - Sea shouted in despair at the idea .
Fourth laughed uncontrollably at the whole situation.
- There are no slaves here Win. - Khao said - believe me, I checked. Everyone here is here because they want to be.
Win calmed down and put the stake back in his back pocket, but still confused, he asked:
- So why on earth would you live with a bunch of bloodsuckers?
- Well, I didn't have much choice when my brother fell in love with one of them, you know.
- Fourth,- said Sea worriedly, - you say like if you don't liked here.
- Oh no - he added quickly - I love it here, Pi
- Do you love it? - Win asked skeptically
- Obviously. Come on, how many guys my age do you know who have fighting lessons with real warriors over 100 years old, access to expensive, super-fast cars, more money than I could ask for and I know that everyone here would kill anyone who messed with me in a second.
The comment left everyone in the room open-mouthed. Dumbfounded, his brother just slapped his hand to his forehead.
Khao smiled and was the first to answer
- Well, think of it that way.
- But that's not all, don't get me wrong - continued the younger man now in a serious tone - Jimmy makes my brother happy and Kanaphan keep us safe. That's all I care about.
Khao, Win and Brigth looked at each other, understanding that there was more to the brothers' story that they were letting on, and despite their curiosity left it for another time. After all, if they didn't want to talk, they must have had their reasons.
Khao noticed Sea struggling with the tears that filled his eyes, the young man had always felt guilty for dragging his brother into his mess.
And as if summoned by his thoughts, he saw Jimmy rush into the room and to his side, putting his hands in his and positioning himself directly between him and Brigth.
A move that didn't go unnoticed by any of the others. MWin stared at Brigth who shrugged in confusion.
Khao watched Sea who just shook his head as if asking the boy to let it go.
- Baby, why didn't you tell me you were coming, I would have accompanied you.
- I don't need a babysitter. - sometimes his boyfriend's overprotection suffocated him a little, even though he knew he didn't mean any harm. - And you're swamped with work, I didn't want to get in the way
- I know you...
- Are there many wounded? - interrupted Khao.
- Not many, - said Jimmy
- Quite a lot - said Fourth
Khao looked at them both in confusion
- Half are burned by the auras and half are exhausted from avoiding the possessions, not to mention the missing - explained the younger man, getting a slapping from the vampire on the back of the head - ouch !
- Quiet - sent Sea
- He asked.
- Shh
- Missing?
- It's nothing you need to worry about - replied Jimmy in his best doctor tone. - You need to focus on resting and recovering
Khao was familiar with that tone, and he knew the doctor was lying.
- First said not to tell me, , did he ?
No one answered.
Win held his boyfriend's hand worriedly, he knew his best friend, he knew he was too stubborn to let it go.
- What do you mean missing? -He asked again.
- Khao - Win tried to intervene when again no one answered.
- Fine. - said the wizard, standing up abruptly - I'll find out for myself .
Weakness and dizziness overtook his body before he could even put a leg on the floor, but Khao didn't give up, he leaned as best he could on the side of the bed and tried to walk, only to be stopped by Win
- Don't even think about it.
- I'm getting pretty tired of everyone telling me what I can and can't do.
Win knew Khao well enough to know that he hated not having all the information and hated it even more when people tried to boss him around. He sighed deeply.
And faced the only vampire in the room.
- Just tell him.
Jimmy wondered whether or not he should disobey his boss.
- Jimmy - called Sea affectionately.
- Fine. - replied the vampire, he couldn't tell no to his boyfriend and he knew it - some of us have been kidnapped, not possessed or eliminated but taken. And we haven't got any clues yet as to where they might be.
Khao sighed, he knew there was something different about that attack. He was hoping to be wrong. Still weak, he sat on the edge of the bed and faced Sea, who seemed more nervous than before.
- What else? - He asked his new friend directly.
- Sea. - warned the vampire - No.
Khao raised an eyebrow, still staring at the human.
- One of the missing - he answered slowly,- it's AJ.
