Jimin gulped, reaching out to grab a hold of Hoseok's hand which rested next to him. Hoseok looked at him for a moment. Jimin was sure he was trying to smile, but it didn't come across through the absolutely terrified expression on his face. He tightly grabbed around the younger omega's hand. So tightly it almost felt like every bone in his hand was breaking, but somehow he didn't mind that. It was a nice distraction from what was going on inside of the white door in front of them.

Namjoon had made the choice of trying to get through his heat without any help. No medicine, no alpha.... It was the most risky option out of them all. More omegas than not had died trying to survive their first heat. At the thought Jimin felt his eyes pooling with tears, the hand holding suddenly became an inadequate form of comfort, and he moved over to hug his hyung tightly, trying his best to muffle his cries in his soft sweater,

"He will be fine, Jimin." He heard Hoseok say, placing a warm and uncertain hand on his head, stroking his hair gently. "The doctor is in there. She won't leave until his heat is over. She will help him get through this. If it gets too bad she has the medicine ready, and Seokjin also promised to stay in there in case....." he paused. Catching his own breath which sounded like he was only seconds away from breaking into tears. He was shaking, but still tried his best to comfort the younger. Jimin felt bad about that. Hoseok might be older, but that didn't mean his feelings should be invalidated. He shouldn't be forced into the position of comfort, when the situation was just as hard for him as it was far Jimin. He should wish he could help his hyung too. That being said he had no idea how to comfort the other back. He just hugged him tighter, hoping it would have an effect.

"If it gets too bad for him to manage alone, he will still have two opinions on stand by. Don't worry alright? They will not let him die." Hoseok's voice shook, laced with a clear uncertainty and obvious fright, but Jimin didn't want to point that out. He appreciated his comfort, as well as his effort to try to be strong. He wished he could be strong like Hoseok. Like Namjoon. Like Yoongi...

Suddenly the white door opened making the two omegas flinch. Jimin instantly released the hug to turn back towards the door to see what was going on. Was Namjoon alright?

Seokjin came out of the barley lit room, a look of exhaustion and worry in his features. Jimin tried to get a look inside the room, but Seokjin blocked the view with his tall, broad alpha stature. "Jimin." He started. Closing the door behind him, just as a heartbreaking scream sounded from inside it. A new flood of tears ran from his eyes and his hands were shaking harshly.

"I hate to ask this of you." The alpha said, sounding pained. Both omegas looked at him teary eyed, this didn't sound good.

"The manager of the restaurant keeps calling. He says that we got more guests than expected today and they need more hands on deck." He sighed, looking away from them. "I have to stay here with Namjoon just in case. I know you want that too, but would you be able to go down there and help? Just for a couple of hours until the rush is over."  At the question Jimin's mind went blank.

"Jimin-ah." He heard Hoseok say, a hand being placed on his shoulder. "I think it would be good for you to try to think about something else. Seokjin, I and the doctor will all be here making sure Namjoon is all right.

"You don't have to stay for a full shift either." Seokjin added. "Just for a couple of hours through the rush." Jimin was still staring blankly into the space in front of him.

"How will I know if...." He stopped himself, new tears starting to pool in his eyes, but these he refused to let fall. "I can send Hoseok down to update you every hour if you want that." Seokjin said.

The room went silent, so silent that Namjoon's heavy breaths from behind the closed door felt like it was in their necks, making goosebumps spread on Jimin's body.
