At this point Yoongi had lost all track of time in the dark wine room. Things had gotten better since Jungkook's father had given the owner properties to his son. Though this had made things easier for him, it also made his skin crawl that his life had become nothing more than someone's property. It was a disgusting thought and yet somehow society found it completely justifiable because he was an omega. As much as he hated it, hated being an omega, being someone's property, he very much preferred being owned by Jungkook than his father, if he had a choice. Jungkook had only been kind, and after the ownership was given to him, things had become a lot better. He got food, proper food, multiple times a day, the shackles had been taken off which had also provided him with the privilege of being able to use the bathroom attached to the room whenever he needed it. As miserable as he was, his life now was in all honesty an upgrade from how it had been even in school. At least here he didn't have the constant fear of getting assaulted by the guards, degraded by the teachers or starving to death. The biggest downside was that he was so fucking bored! Stuck in a wine room all day with nothing else other than darkness, silence and a locked, dark cage trapping him in his own head. He had no idea how long he had been there, how long it had been since the last time he had gotten food, the last time he had seen Jaehwan or Jungkook's stupid father, but it felt like years since he had been in the school.

He didn't want to be owned or controlled, but it wasn't exactly a new aspect in his life. They had been constantly monitored and controlled in school as well, he was used to it. What he was not used to was the lack of schedule, paired with the overwhelming silence. It trapped him in his head with an iron lock, forcing his mind to over analyze the current situation, as well as painfully dwell on his past. It had led to him doubting even Jungkook's intentions. It shouldn't be too weird that he was untrustful of him, it wasn't long since they had been strangers to one another, and to say they had a deep bond was by no means correct. He most certainly seemed more trustworthy than the two other members of the household, but at this point his mind had made up too many scenarios to truly believe he was just the way he seemed. If the father and brother were terrible alphas with no sympathy towards anyone, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to assume Jungkook would have draker intentions hidden as well. For all he knew this could all just be one big ploy to earn his trust, lower his walls and make it even more painful when betrayal would slap him in the face. He shivered. Partly at the thought and partly because of the cold temperature in the room.

Jungkook had gifted him a knitted sweater and a coat from his own wardrobe that he had said "might fit him." Which they did not, they were about the same age, but the alpha was muscular and tall, meanwhile, he was probably skinnier than he should be.  He had taken them either way, better with ill fitting clothes than no clothes at all to keep him from turning into an icicle. Unfortunately they still didn't do too much to fight the cold. Therefore he would multiple times a day opt to move around in the room. Walking, jumping, running, anything to keep his body temperature up. As he ran around with little purpose other than staying alive, he always tried his best to stay away from the wine bottles that filled the entire left wall of the room. He was sure every one of those bottles were worth more money than his whole life, and he didn't want to risk being indebted to anyone.

These were the few moments of relief he had there. He was not someone who liked exercise, but it was better than being a cold mess on the floor of the room.

He had to give Jungkook some credit, the alpha had tried to move him to a different room on one occasion, but had come back with a dejected look on his face. Apparently his father hadn't allowed it, claiming that he didn't care who owned the omega, he was still the owner of the house. Yoongi sighed. Everything was just so confusing now. He didn't know how many days, weeks, possibly even months had passed. It was impossible to tell what time it was and he wasn't sure if he could trust anyone in the house. He missed the other omegas, his brothers, and he hated that he didn't even know if they had made it. Were they free now? Had they been taken back into their cells?......had they been killed? He hoped they were okay, he begged silently into the empty room every day that they had made it. Unfortunately the emptiness never responded back and he was forced to remain as clueless as ever.
