"Who's there?!" Jimin yelled loudly, eyes staring widely at the horizon in front of him, plastered onto the dark silhouette that slowly approached from the foot of the forest. "Oh, it's just you." He said as he the other made his appearance, his tensed shoulders slumping when he realized that the approaching frame was no threat. It was just Hoseok.

"How are you?" Hoseok asked him, carefully putting the twigs and branches he had collected unto the bare ground beneath him. He wasn't faced by the situation. After all they were all tense and stressed, still not fully believing that they had gotten away.

It couldn't possibly be that easy. The school had such high security for a reason. Jimin was sure they weren't the first who had escaped, at least not who had tried. There was probably a routine for dealing with runaways. It made a chill go through his body when Jimin thought about it. Because this was something they were all aware of, that they weren't safe. For this exact reason they didn't give themselves the time to properly relax. It was exhausting, to always  keep an awake body and mind, but they were fine, even though Jimin had to keep reassuring Hoseok of that fact. "I am fine Hoseok." Jimin said with a smile, reassuring him once again. "You have to stop asking that every time you see my face." Hoseok just blushed at that, looking away from the younger while mumbling something incoherent under his breath.

"Has Namjoon returned yet?" He asked after what had seemed like an intense mumbling discussion with himself. Jimin didn't answer him, just shook his head. At that Hoseok sat down on the log next to the other with a sigh. "Why did we let him go again?" He asked, leaning back and looking up at the darkening sky. "It's getting late." He added worriedly. "You know I don't have had the heart to hold him here." Jimin sighed, feeling slightly bad for not even attempting to stop him. "He feels guilty for not being able to help us when we escaped. He says he shouldn't have been a burden and now wants to make up for it." Hoseok groaned loudly, abruptly standing up from the log he had just sat down on. "But it wasn't his fault! He was unconscious!" He said, once again denying the statement that Namjoon had told them both probably fifty times already. "He is injured too, his arm hasn't healed yet. It probably won't for long." He huffed, looking away from Jimin again. "And I know he is in pain. You both are. I know you try to hide it, but I see it on your faces a-and I-I don't want you to suffer." In the middle of his worried rant, he had broken down, tears gushing out of his eyes and down his cheeks. The thought that two of his closest and only friends were smiling so brightly and trying so hard even in this grim and dreadful situation, was too much for him to take. He was so proud of them, at the same time as he had never been more worried about them.

"Hoseok-ah." Jimin said, standing up with a little more difficulty than what Hoseok had, the oldest omega was right after all, his bullet wound still hurt. He put a hand on his friend's forearm before he planted his chin on the older omega's shoulder, resting his head on it. "We are fine. We are all resting up well. Plus," he started with a giggle "we get to see you look all cool and tough when you care for us tend to our wounds." Hoseok laughed through his tears, resting his head on top of the smaller's. "Thanks Jimin." He told, truly grateful. "Sorry for overreacting, this is just.... a lot." He felt Jimin's head nod slightly in agreement from where it was on his shoulder. They both smiled, but neither one of them could see it.

These overpowering emotions was something that had been on and off with all of them the last two days.

Two whole days they had been alone in the forest as escaped omgeas, probably stamped on a hundred wanted posters. Wanted dead or alive.

They felt like they had run for hours, dragging the tall unconscious omega through the snow and shuffling his weight between them to try to carry him and themselves as far as they possibly could. Maybe they actually had been running for hours, Jimin realized when he looked up at the sky and saw the sun starting to rise behind a mountain.
