"Took you long enough" joked BamBam as soon as Chan entered his dorm, immediately regretting it when he saw the younger look down.
"I- Sorry Chan, I was just joking" apologized the boy running to hug his best friend.
"Sorry... wanted my plushie but couldn't find it" whispered Chan.
"No, it was my fault, I shouldn't have said that" said the older.
"It's ok, I'm just overreacting" smiled sadly Chan before sitting on the couch and placing his laptop on his laps. BamBam looked ready to apologise again and tell him that it wasn't his fault, but Chan spoke first, leaving the older no chance to do so.
"Wanna listen to something?" the older nodded and sat next to his friend.
After listening to a few samples, BamBam's face was shocked.
"You are a genius Channie, seriously! That's so much better than what JYP could ever do!"
Both let out a wholehearted laugh.
"Don't tell him that though!" managed to say the younger in between the laughs.
"And why not? The world needs to know that you can do better than anyone else" praised BamBam putting a hand on his friend's shoulder.
"You are seriously so talented Channie" praised again the older, this time earning a whine.
"Is someone shy?" teased BamBam, knowing that the younger was slowly slipping again in his littlespace.
"Make Channie shy" whined Chan, hiding his face in his friend's chest. The other just laughed.
"It's ok Channie, you don't need to hide" reminded BamBam gently grabbing the little's shoulders and making him look at him.
"Sorry" mumbled the little, looking down.
""It's okay baby, I'm not mad" Chan just nodded, deep in thought.
"Now, does a certain little want to make cookies?" asked the caregiver, making the offer sound so fun.
"Me! Me! Me!" exclaimed the little, voice filled with excitement.
The caregiver got the ingredients and measured them, leaving the little to the mixing process.
Soon though, the cookie dough got hard to stir, and Chan got frustrated over it.
"Daddy it nuh mix!" complained the little, slipping younger.
"Awww baby, it's ok. Daddy can help you" BamBam got next to the little and helped him stir the dough some more.
"Ok now baby, get the chocolate chips and put them in here" instructed the older pointing at the bowl that he just finished mixing. The little complied, pouring most of the chocolate chips in the bowl. Some ended on the counter and on the floor, making the little look horrified at the floor from the counter he was sitting on. BamBam had to suppress a sigh.
"Daddy?" mumbled Chan making the older watch up from the floor.
"Yes, small one?"
"Tink Channie make mess" whispered the little, pouting.
"It's ok baby, daddy will clean up now. You can finish those cookies" tried to distract the caregiver.
Chan didn't really move on from that though, remaining gloomy as he shaped the cookies. BamBam was on the floor cleaning up the chocolate chips that fell.
"Daddy?" called Chan looking down from the counter.
"Yes baby?"
"Sowy. I nuh mean to" apologised the little.
"I know you didn't, it's okay baby. No one got hurt and now daddy is cleaning up, so it will be clean again. Don't worry" smiled the older.
"It otay?" mumbled the younger with glossy eyes.
"Yes baby, I promise it's ok"
The little hummed and continued to shape his cookies. When the older finished cleaning up he joined his little.
"Are there any cookies left to shape for me baby?" asked BamBam.
"Wook dewe" instructed the little pointing at a random place of the dorm.
The older complied, wondering what was his friend thinking.
When after some moments the younger was still silent, BamBam decided to look at what the younger was doing.
Chan had taken some cookies and rolled them together, so it would make a bigger piece of dough.
"Chu can wook now" said the younger a minute later, offering the caregiver the dough he had reshaped. BamBam pretended to not have looked to make the little happy.
"This is a lot of dough, I can't shape it all by myself" said the older faking to be sad.
"Is otay, I can hewp chu" promised the little, dividing the dough in two parts and offering one of them to his caregiver.
"Well, thank you baby"
The next few minutes, the two shaped the cookies. When they were ready, the older sticked them in the oven, warning the little to not come too close or he would burn himself.
"Baby, all the cookies are in the oven now" called BamBam after a few minutes. But Chan had disappeared. Giggles could be heard from Jackson's room.
"Is Chan here?" asked the Thai boy to his group mate.
