"Taiyō-nii, is that you?", Kagami called loudly as she rushed down the long flight of curving stairs. She had woken up early in order to get some school work done before getting ready for school. It was 3am, so she had a bit of time until then. On her way down she had to jump over six of her cats that were resting lazily on the stairs.

Deep voices resounding from downstairs caught her attention. It wasn't Taiyō who was there, she noted, it was someone she had hoped she wouldn't see for a long time.

"Tou-san?", Kagami asked cautiously as she slowly went down the stairs. Her father started, looking away from the person in front of him. He caught her gaze, and the room fell silent before he spoke.

"Kagami-chan.", he said, setting down his bags. He opened up his arms, gesturing for her to meet his embrace. She did so without hesitation, taking in the warmth she had missed so much.

His brothers laughed in delight at the sight, it seemed like she would drop the man to the floor. Knowing how strained their relationship had become, it was a sight for sore eyes.

"Surprise!", all five men beamed as Daichi let go of the girl.

"Haruto jii-chan, Kokoro jii-chan, Mitsuki jii-chan, Ryosuke nii-san...", Kagami counted them aloud, looking around to see if anyone else would pop out. "You guys came all this way just to surprise little old me? What's the occasion?", Kagami asked suspiciously.

The men shared a look, before she was led into the lounge. Ryosuke decided it would be nice to have some tea, so he made some for everyone as they sat and conersed.

"I heard that someone enrolled at UA.", Mitsuki began eagerly as he went to stand before the girl. A wide grin overtook his usually serious expression.
"Kagami-chan, you have no idea how grateful I am to you for not letting your fear control you.", he said with pride. He dug into his side bag and brought out a large box.
"Please accept this gift as my thanks."

Kagami accepted the gift eagerly, it wasn't everyday that Mitsuki jii-chan handed out gifts, and when he did, it was with careful consideration. Even without opening it, Kagami knew that it was something that would help build physical strength so that she could use her quirk better. She couldn't help but giggle at the thought.

"Thank you, Mitsuki jii-chan.", she said softly, holding the box over her heart. "I'll be sure to treasure it with all my heart."

Mitsuki, chuckled and ruffled her head playfully. With a final wink, he proceeded to sit down. Ryosuke entered the room immediately after, carrying the tea on a tray.

"Alright!", Kokoro jii-san beamed as he stepped forward. He beamed at the girl, who smiled at him softly.

"Kagami-chan, I would also like to express my thanks with a gift, but mine isn't an object.", he said as he walked over to his bag and dug out something. He brought out a key card and handed it to her, earning him a shocked gasp from the girl. "I know how much you need the training, so I got you an access card to my agency's training facility!"

"No way, jii-chan!", Kagami beamed, seeming like she would pop from excitement. This time she really cackled like a mad man, the thought of working out in such a place making her especially gleeful.

"There's no way!", Daichi laughed. "You guys spoil her too much. She'll end up loving you all more than me.", he complained.

"Perks of being an uncle, otouto. You do the same to me with Ryosuke and Mizuki.", Haruto laughed as he brought out his gift. Ryosuke laughed from his place beside Daichi.

Daichi rolled his eyes cheekily. His brother was right, but he wouldn't admit it.

Looking at the girl seriously, Haruto sincerely said, "Kagami-chan, to be honest, our biggest fear was that you would never allow yourself to live your dream because you would be too afraid. I thought I'd never see you use your quirk again, so this is a breath of fresh air for me."
