On the other hand, Taiyō nervously fidgeted with his phone as he walked down the road. His sister had always been an odd ball, but not this kind. Never to this extent.

His thoughts were running wild, and his heart was in no better state. Considering that she was supposed to have been home all day, this was really a feat and a half that she had pulled.

He had been greatly relieved when Mr Bakugō called his phone, although it rarely happened, because at least he now knew where she was. At this point it didn't even matter where she had been, just as long as she was safe. He was simply satisfied knowing her whereabouts.

He was walking to the Bakugō household in the heavy night rain. At this point he was soaked through, but he really didn't care, he just needed to see that Kagami was alright. Mr Bakugō didn't sound too promising over the phone earlier, so he didn't know what to expect.

He picked up his pace as the large house came into view, and broke into a sprint as the rain began to fall more heavily. He knocked when he finally arrived, but they took too long to answer, so he called Mr Bakugo's phone instead. The door opened just as the phone began to ring.

"Taiyō-kun, please come in.", Mr Bakugō said groggily. He looked like he had just woken up. Taiyō took off his shoes at the door and followed him into the lounge, where he was offered a slippers, a large towel and a hot cup of tea. They sat down in silence for a long time, before the older man finally spoke.

"She's asleep right now, I don't think it's a good idea to wake her up.", the man revealed with a sigh. Taiyō nodded in understanding, taking a sip from his cup.

"You're right, but I can't shake the feeling off unease. I'm worried, Masaru oji-san.", he said softly. Mr. Bakugō nodded, drinking from his own cup. He gestured for Taiyō to keep talking as he listened silently.

"Recently, Kacchan's been distant and odd. I don't know what to think, but I've been hopeful that she wasn't getting mixed with all the wrong kinds of people. How... How bad did it look?", Taiyō asked, trying not to sound too nervous. Mr Bakugō sent a sidelong glance his way.

"I didn't get a look but, Mitsuki-chan said it was really bad. She mentioned there being a huge bruise on her shoulder, cheek, and the side of her torso.", he explained. Taiyō sighed, exasperated. He set down his cup and pulled the towel around him. In his mind, he pictured Kagami all bruised and broke, and his stomach churned.

"I don't know what to make of this, honestly. She doesn't talk to me anymore, so I never know what she's up to, or what to expect from her.", Taiyō confessed.

"You'll need to sit her down and find out then. This can't go on any longer, Taiyō-kun. Just last week we had to look for her in the city like she was lost. Wherever she disappears to, I'm not sure if it's a really good place for her.", Mr Bakugō adviced.

The young man nodded in understanding. His worries only grew as his thoughts ran rampant in his mind.

"Kacchan's such a good kid, you know. I can't begin to fathom when things changed, or even how. Yes, I often have to leave her home alone for long periods of time, but she never does anything wrong during that time. She never even complains about it either. In fact, she only ever talks about how she loves it, so that can't been the cause of it. Can it?"

Mr. Bakugō nodded both in understanding and agreement. Seeing this, gears began to turn in Taiyō's head, and he softly said, "She must be up to something, then. I'll have to find out what exactly that is.", Taiyō said, picking up his cup.

The sound of a door opening caught their attention, and they looked up to see Kagami come walking down the stairs sleepily. She paused when she saw Taiyō, and they locked eyes before she averted her gaze guiltily.
