Its been about four months since Alex and I started dating. We made it through the summer and school has been going on again for 3 weeks now. We have another week before the concert and I can't wait.

"Yeah babe I'm so excited" he says making me giggle "awww are you fangirling" even though we are talking on the phone I know he's smiling. "Maybe" "you're so cute" I say giggling again. "I know" he says trying to make his voice deeper. "Whatever. Anyway. I'd totally DIE if they played american idiot oh my gosh!! Ohhhhhh my what if they sing an all time low cover?! It BETTER be weightless!" I can't help but gush with excitement. Alex chuckles at my fangirling attitude. "It will be awesome I promise" I sigh and say, "yeah I know. OH MY GOD WHAT IF CALUM FORGETS THE LYRICS TO A SONG AGAIN! That would be hilarious!! He's so cute oh my gosh" I can hear Alex trying not to laugh. "Hey! You're my girlfriend remember? Not his" "I wish" I say jokingly and I hear Alex gasp dramatically. "Calm down Alex. Anyway I need to go to sleep its late and we have school tomorrow." I say yawning. "Okay. I'll pick you up tomorrow. And don't you mean . . . . Calum down" I sigh and just say "bye Alex! Love you" I just hear "love you too" before I hang up and fall asleep.

Its after third hour in the hallway and I am getting my stuff from my locker when I see someone walk up out of the corner of my eye. I expect it to be Alex so I say "hey babe" without looking up. I hear a familiar voice respond, "babe? That's new" I look up to see my best friend Jason looking down at me. Yeah I have two best friends. . . don't judge. "Jason!!!!!" I excitedly hug him and I pull away with 10000 questions going through my head at the same time. "Hey how's it going??" He asks smiling.
"I thought you moved!!! I haven't seen you since last year! And I couldn't text you because you dropped your phone in water and you look taller!!! Oh my gosh I just missed you!" Jason chuckles and hugs me again. "Well I'm here. My dad got his old job again so we decided to come back" I run my fingers through my hair still processing this. "Wow. I'm just glad you're back." "Me too"

Alex seemed a little quiet the ride home from school but I didn't notice until we got to my house. "So baby I'll call you same time tonight?" Alex doesn't respond automatically like he usually does. After a second he says, "Well actually . . . I kinda need to talk to you now. It's uh. . . kinda important." "Sure what's up?" He looks down at the ground like he's trying to figure out how to say what he was thinking. Or almost like he was rethinking it. "I uh I kinda saw you hugging Jason today" I start to get a little curious. "So?" "Well I don't think you should be around him anymore." I can't believe what I just heard. "What?" I ask bitterly almost daring him to say it again. Alex gulps and continues, "i-it looked like you were flirting y/n. And I got jealous." I felt my angry melt because he was jealous. . . that some other boy was talking to me. I start smiling . . . . no matter how hard I try I can't contain the smile. Something about it makes Alex angrier. "I'm glad you think this is funny because I was wasn't kidding. No more hanging out with Jason." Alex says this with so much anger it came out as a command, and leaves me speechless. I don't even notice when Alex turns around and walks away. Not even looking back.
