I whine again asking Alex, "Where are we going?!" And I got the same answer as the past 12 times. "Just wait. You'll see babe" I feel my breath hitch in my throat as I hear that last part. That was new. I have to admit though, I like it. We are in his car, we have only been driving for about ten minutes, but I'm starting to get excited. Finally we pull up to a house and he unfastens his seat belt and opens his door. "Stay here for a second?" He runs in for a few minutes before he comes back out with a picnic basket. I giggle at how simple it is. "What?" He asks his cheeks turning a light pink. "Nothing. I'm just laughing at how dorky you are". He shakes his head and sighs "just slap me with some cheese because I'm so cheesy why don't you?" He smiles before laughing at himself. We drive for a few more minutes before stopping at a little place under a tree to eat out food.

After we eat Alex opens the basket one last time. "What's that?" I ask suddenly curious. With one hand he pulls out a package while he holds my hands with the other. "I've had this planned for a while and I have been trying to ask you forever. I started to bring someone else but no one deserves to go more than you" he hands me the package his cheeks as red as tomatoes. I open the package and can't quite wrap my brain around what I'm looking at. "I- I don't." "They are back stage passes to the five seconds of summer concert. I knew you were going because you have been talking about it for months. So I thought who better to take then the cute girl from math that can't stop talking about her favorite band." I don't even hear the last two words because I can't help but run up and hug him. "Thank you so much. I don't think I can wait until the concert." He kisses me and responds "me neither"
