Ashton's P.O.V.

A beeping sound went off and I slowly got up. Looking at my phone near the table, a little light was flickering off and on, signalling I had a notification.

Unlocking my phone, I had received a text message.

Rae: How's Eleanor?

Ashton: Fine. She's sick, although. Where have you been?

Rae: I've been spying on the rouges but found nothing. My baby sis is sick?

I could imagine a frown appearing on his face.

Ashton: Yea, she's sick. Addison threw a bucket of cold water on her, Ellie just fell right back to sleep.

Rae: Yup. That's how she is. I'll be back around noon, please keep me updated with her status and make sure she's comfortable, and safe, and fed...

I think the list could have continued but he stopped.

Ashton: Don't worry. I'm her mate. I have to protect her. And who do you think I am? A abusive mate?

Rae: Heh, maybe.

Ashton: See you noon then.

Rae: Yea, cya.

I locked my phone and quietly got off the bed. I decided to take a quick shower, not wanting to leave my mate for so long.

Grabbing clothes, I entered the bathroom. Showering, then putting on the clothes I had gotten. Which was a V-neck, dark jeans, with black Converse.

I sighed, as I mind linked Skylar to tell Addison and her can keep company if Eleanor wakes up. I unlocked my phone and started texting Rae.

Ashton: Hey, Rae. Can we meet at Mickey's diner?

Rae: Sure, but aren't you taking care of Eleanor?

Ashton: No, I told Addison and Skylar to watch her. I need to talk to you.

Rae: Oh, okay.

I put my phone in my pocket and headed out. I saw Addison and Skylar head up to my room. Making sure the door is locked, I closed it and started walking to Mickey's diner, which is about a five minute walk for humans, it's a three minute walk for werewolves if you use the speed.

Openingthe door to the diner, smell of coffee hit me like a tsunami. I looked around each table and found one person waving at me, Rae.

I walked over there and sat down. A waitress served us, eye raping me.

"Hello, what would you like to order?" She purred. Only looking at the menu, paying no attention to her, I ordered three plates of pancakes, mash potatoes, hash brown, Mountain Dew, two plates of waffles with butter, and a plate of bacon, eggs, and more hash brown.

Rae just ordered a plate of pancakes and coffee. The waitress wrote down our orders. She walked where the kitchen was, swinging her hips.

She came back ten minutes later, coming back with napkins I saw she wrote down her number on it, signed with her name with a heart.

"Call me." She whispered in my ear. I just ignored her and dug into my food. After she left, Rae started laughing like there was no tomorrow.

"D-Did y-you see h-how d-desperate she w-was!"

I smirked, "Yea."

We finished our food and only have our drinks, "So what do you want to talk about?" Rae asked.
