Ashton's P.O.V.

I ran my fingers through my greasy hair. I paced around in our room, wondering what was taking so long.

Soon enough, the doctor and some of the pack warriors barged in. I looked at them with cold eyes, telling them to meet me in my office.

They bowed their heads and quickly ran off to my office.

I went over the my unconscious mate and kissed her forehead. "I'll be back."

I went out of our room and went towards my office. I walked in and sat down on my chair, the doctor and pack warriors sitting patiently across from me.

"What's the matter?" I asked, seriously. The doctor stood up, "Alpha, we found the rouges that were hiding." He said. "They're in critical condition, although." He said.

I nodded my head, "Make sure they're cared for, they might know some answers." I said. The doctor pushed up his glasses and continued speaking, "While they were being treated for, we heard the man speak you mate's name."

My eyes bored into his, "If they wake up, contact immediately." He nodded his head and bowed his head before sitting back down.

"You are dismissed." I said, they got up and bowed their heads, once again, before leaving my office.

I went back to our room, Eleanor still in the same spot. I ordered the pack doctor to move her up here after the first week she's been unconscious.

I stared at her and held her hand, "You're going to get better. I will never let you die." I said, kissing her knuckles.

I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I knew, I was being shaken awake. "Ashton, the rouges had woken up." Elliot said.

I blinked away the black dots swarming around, before becoming alert. I nodded my head and we went to the cellars.

When I first went in, the smell of rouges filled my nose.

My eyes adjusted to the darkness before walking forward. I saw the pack doctor going out of a cell.

He bowed his head before moving back for me. I stared at the rouges, the male, had his arms around his mate protectively.

"What is your name, rouge." I spat out. The male growled lowly. I growled back. He didn't flinch nor did he look away.

"I won't ask again." I growled out. 'Just rip him into shred already!' My wolf yelled at me. 'He might be useful. What if he knows about Eleanor?' I said, as calmly as I could.

"What. Is. Your. Name." I said. "Like I'll tell you." His voice said. "Just tell him." His mate whispered. He looked at her grumpily before telling me his name, "If you must know, it's Alpha Jeremy of the Star Moon pack."

"And my name is Luna Natalie of Star Moon pack."

My eyes widened. "You mean the pack that was destroyed a couple of years ago?" I asked, they both nodded.

"Our daughter and son is still missing, but we know they're close." Natalie said, looking down. "We failed as parents." I heard her whisper, barely.

I heard the door open and then closed, I saw Rae walk down with Roxy. "Alpha, Eleanor's mark seems to be growing over her body. The doctor said that once it spreads around her body, she will..." Roxy didn't finish her sentence.

"How long." I demanded. "He said in about three days. On December 31."

I felt my world breaking down. My hands started to form into fists until I heard Rae say, "Mom? Dad?"

"Rae, hunny?" Natalie said. "Is it really you?" Rae said, his voice breaking. They nodded their heads, about to hug him, but realized that they were in a cell.

"H-How?" He said. "Where's your sister?" Natalie said, panicking. "She's upstairs." Rae said, "But she only has three more days." Rae said, I think he was crying.

"We know dear." Natalie said, "But we know the cure."

My head snapped to the cell they were being held in. "What is the cure?" I said, pushing Rae gently out of the way.

"Wait, how do you know that you're not impostors?" I said, being cautious. "We have the marks of the Alpha and Luna." Jeremy said.

After confirmation that they were the real Alpha and Luna, the guard unlocked the cell, Rae running into their arms.

After Rae pulled back, he wiped his tears, "How forgetful am I," he muttered, "Mom, dad, this is my mate Roxy."

Natalie smiled and shook her hand, "If you mistreat my boy, you do not want to know what will happen." Natalie said, a dark aroma started filling the air. Roxy nodded her head slowly.

"Please, don't pay attention to my mate." Jeremy said, "I'm glad you found you're mate."

Roxy smiled to him, "Thank you."

I cleared my throat, and everyone in the cellars was staring at me. "I just wanted to apologized for my behavior before." I said.

"Apology accepted." They said simultaneously.

"Now, where's my baby?" Natalie said. I lead them outside and into the pack house.

We went into my room, it was a disaster. "What's going on?!" My voice boomed. Everyone stopped, "Alpha, sir. We've seem to be encountering problems with, er, your mate." A nurse said.

"What problems?" I asked, walking closer to my mate. "The marks seem to spread around her body quicker than expected. She's on the deathbed." The same nurse said.

"Her death is expected within the next hour." The nurse said, all the people in my room bowed their heads.

I shook my head, "There's got to be something to cure her!" I yelled.

"Alpha, we do not know any cures as if now." A doctor said. As if reading my mind, Rae ran up to Eleanor.

"Eleanor, wake up!" He said, shaking her body. "Mom and dad, their back." He sobbed.

The doctor tried to pull him back, but he elbowed him in the face. Natalie and Jeremy held his arms, but he kept squirming in their hold like a little kid.

'Carter and Ryan, come up to my room now.' I demanded. They came up within seconds, "Take Rae away until he's calmed down."

They nodded their heads before dragging away a crying Rae, Roxy following behind them.

I walked up to Eleanor and held her hand. "Everyone, out." I said. I heard their feet scurry across the room and going outside.

Once I knew everyone left, I cried. Although I was an Alpha, I sure do have emotions.

"I lied to you." I started. "I told you everything was going to be okay, but in reality it's not." I said, my wolf howling in sadness.

"We never got to go on a honeymoon. We never went on a date. We barely got to do anything together." I said.

I looked out the window, it was almost a full moon, but it wasn't. "Why Moon Goddess. Why?!" I yelled angrily.

My wolf whimpered and howled to our dying mate.

I looked at my mate, knowing that there were beautiful shining emerald eyes beneath those eyelids.

"The moment you walked into the food court, I knew it was you. When you sat down, I couldn't stop staring at you. When you were eating your tacos, when you were moaning at how good it was." I said, wiping my tears from my eyes.

"I'm sorry for dragging you into all this shit."
