Chapter 22

Eleanor's P.O.V.

I groaned as I gained my consciousness. I slowly opened my eyes, expecting to be chained down and in a basement, unfortunately, I was comfortably on a bed.

I looked at my surroundings, it looks like a regular bedroom. I tried getting up but my wrist was handcuffed to the bed post. I didn't have any bobby pins so I was screwed.

The door opened and it was a guy wearing a black cape. I remembered someone wearing a black cape and an over sized hat, could that be him?

He walked closer to me but stopped when I gave him a glare. "You don't scare me, sweetheart." He said.

"Why did you kidnap me." I said bluntly. "They never told you?" He said, raising an eyebrow. "Who's 'they'" I said, confused.

He pulled out a chair and sat in front of the bed. "You're a hybrid." He said. It was my turn to raise an eyebrow, "Soo..?" I said.

"It makes you special." He said. I scoffed, "I'm anything but."

"Why do you want a 'hybrid' then?" I asked. "You have powers don't you?" He questioned, I shrugged my shoulders, "Maybe, maybe not." I said.

"Do you know what a hybrid is?" He asked me. "Nope." I said.

"Well, hybrids are when two different species, well, mate you can say." He explained. "So you're saying my mother or dad isn't a human?" I said, he nodded.

"How did you even find me anyways?" I asked. "We have our ways." He said. "So, you were stalking me?" I questioned. He nodded, "Yeah."

"If you were stalking me, then you know about my brother?" He nodded, "Isn't he a hybrid too?" He nodded again.

"Aren't I supposed to be chained in a basement, not a bedroom?" I asked. He shrugged, "We're different."

"So, why did you kidnap me other than I'm a hybrid?" I asked. "I can't tell you that." He said, getting up. "And why not?" I asked, "Because my leader told me not to." He said, going to the door, "See ya next time!" He said loudly, before slamming the door shut.

I sighed dramatically. I wondered if anyone was looking for me...

Ashton's P.O.V.

I woke up with a start when my wolf woke me up, 'Find mate now!' He growled. I looked over to the clock, it was 10 in the morning.

He was right, if I wanted my mate back I need to start up the training again. I quickly took a shower, barely washing the body soap off my body.

I linked everyone to start training, except for the women and children, unless they wanted too.

I came down in basketball shorts, knowing my shirt would either be drenched in sweat or torn apart from my shifting.

I told Elliot to help train the pack  members. I went down to my personal training area, I told, more like demanded, Carter to spar me.

He put up quite a fight, but I always won. After couple of hours sparring him, he finally gave up and couldn't even stand up straight, not that I did damage to him, well, sorta.

He told me he was okay and would heal easily. I raised an eyebrow, going to his side.

"Here, I'll help you to your room." I said. He grinned, "Thanks."

I went to his room and helped him onto his bed, "I'l tell Skylar that you're here." He nodded before closing his eyes, falling asleep.

My wolf was jumping, 'Help mate.' He said, softer than this morning, 'Working on it.' I said, going into my office. I mind linked my best trackers from my pack to help me find Eleanor.

I laid out a map of our territory and some of the neighboring packs. Other maps were scattered on top of it.

"We were getting an idea that they might be hiding Eleanor is a easy place to find, because we easily spotted a two story house that was covered in vines, bushes, and trees surrounding the area." A tracker said.

"Doesn't hurt to explore the place, where is it?" I asked. The tracker pointed to a place near our South border, "We spotted it somewhere here. It's not that hard to find."

"We also couldn't smell anything out of place when we were there, but we got a hint of the Luna's scent. We also want to be cautious. It's too close to our border to be a coincidence." Another tracker said.

I nodded my head, "Okay, we'll bring 20 warriors, just in case if my mate is actually there and the rouges or the people who took her puts up a fight. Elliot will also be coming, along with Ryan, Blake, Jerry and Terry. The Gamma and their mates will stay here to watch over the pack." I said, they all nodded.

"We set out in 10 minutes. Inform the others." The nodded their heads again and headed out of my office.

True to their word, they were all waiting in the living room within 10 minutes. People were saying goodbye to their mates, which made me envy them more. I wanted my mate here with me, kissing her senseless.

I waited outside, not wanting to interfere with their mates. They all came out and we started running in our human form.

We jogged towards the south border, shifting once we got there. 'Mate, mate, mate.' I heard my wolf chant in my head.

The trackers were leading the way, and once I saw the house, it was pretty noticeable like they wanted us to find them.

We shifted back into our human form, not wanting them to find us that easily.

We hid in the trees, waiting for someone to come out, eventually someone did. He looked around before sniffing the air. His head snapped towards my way and he smirked at me. How did he know I was here?

He went back into the house quickly before coming out again, with rouges and hunters. I can feel the shock from the other wolves.

"We know we're here. Come out." Said the werewolf. The hunters loaded their guns, and pulled the safety trigger, ready to fire at any time necessary.

"If you don't come out, we'll shoot." And saying that, all the hunters turned to their sides, pointing their guns directly at the trees as if they can sense us.

I slowly came down and growled at them. I saw some hunters and rouges cower back, but covered it quickly.

"Where's my mate?" I growled again, feeling that my wolf can take over anytime now. The werewolf smirked, "Don't worry, we are treating her well." Still holding that stupid smirk on his face.

I growled again and stepped forward, the hunters pointed their guns at me immediately. "Take a step more and your pack will watch you die." He grinned evilly.

I growled but stayed in my spot. "Bring her out." He said. The door opened and two rouges were carrying my mate by her arms, her legs dragging behind her. I watched them as they roughly pushed her to the floor.

I growled loudly, making birds fly out of their nests and fly free in the air. "What did you do to her?!" My wolf said, taking over.

The werewolf hesitated but gained his posture again, you know some questioning."

"You bitch." I growled, shifting into my wolf.
