6 // parks and shit

we ended up at edinger park. the only reason we chose this one was because there was never any children. everyone in town knew this wasn't a place you'd want your children at anyways. maybe it was because of all the teenagers, or the people fucking in cars, or all the alcohol and blunts being passed around, but one thing was for sure, cal and i always had an adventure when we came here.

"michaaaaeeeeel," i heard a voice slur, "how are ya, buddy?!"

i looked up from my phone, and saw ashton walking towards me, "hey man!" i greeted him.

"i knew you guys would show up," he said, raising his beer in the air.

"drinking already?" cal asked, laughing.

"you know, calum, i know a thing or two about how to have fun, okay?!" he said, trying to defend himself. "now come on," he turned back around and began walking towards a group of people sitting on a blanket.

calum turned to look at me and i shrugged, "just follow him."

and so we did.

"hey, i thought you guys were never gonna make it!" ashton exclaimed.

"ash, we were like five steps behind you..." i trailed off, noticing he was already trying to introduce us.

"michael, meet luke," ashton said, with a dramatic wave of his hand.

"ashton," i began, "i know everybody here."

luke laughed loudly, "hey mikey, hey cal."

"hey man, what's up for tonight?" cal asked.

"who knows," luke shrugged.

"hey ash-" i looked around, "where'd he go?!"

calum pointed behind me, and i turned to look. i was greeted by the sight of an extremely drunk ashton, playing with a kareoke app on his phone.

"you'll be the prince, and i'll be the princess, it's a love story baby just say yes," ashton sang, well it was more like yelling, but he thought he was singing.

"someone has to record this," i laughed.

"already on it," luke stated, pointing to his phone.
