"let me play a songggggg," taylor whined, from the passengers seat.
"no," i replied, paying attention to the road, as i got the duty of driving. oh fun.
"let her play something," ashton demanded, from the backseat.
"no," i replied, bluntly.
"it's my car, i say yes," ashton argued.
"okay, but i'm driving," i laughed.
"i'm doing it anyways," taylor stated, unplugging my phone from the aux cord and plugging her own it.
"oh hell," i muttered.
after a minute or two of her scrolling, some unfamiliar beat started.
"oh god," ashton groaned, from the backseat.
"yeeeeeah, baby," the song started.
"isn't this that fetty walk guy?" i asked, purposely saying his name wrong.
"it's fetty wap!" taylor whined.
"whatever you say," i said, focusing back on the road.
"i know my lifestyle is driving you crazyyyy," the song continued.
"but i can not see myself without you!" taylor yelled.
okay, i had definately had enough of this song. i decided to just tune out the rest of it, since it was getting on my nerves. i noticed a sign that said it was only 70 or so miles left until the lake, thank god.
"michael!" taylor called.
"hm?" i asked, distracted.
"what song should i out on now?"
i hadn't even noticed that the song was finally over, thank god.
"i don't know," i began, "anything as long as it's not by him."
she laughed, "alright."
"put on worth it!" ashton demanded.
within a few moments, yet another beat started, but this time i knew what song it was.
"give it to me, i'm worth it. baby, i'm worth it. uh huh, i'm worth it, gimme gimme i'm worth it," the song started.
"oh god," i muttered, looking over to taylor who was now dancing.
"just give me you, just give me you! just give me you, that's all i wanna do!" she yelled, pointing towards me and doing some weird little shimmy thing.
"oh god," i muttered again, this was going to be a long drive.
