eventually luke, along with three or four other kids that i didn't know, had shown up. with alcohol, thankfully. i had planned to get drunk and forget about everything. why? because i can.

"pass the bottle," i demanded, motioning for taylor to hand it to me. luckily she did, and i took yet another big drink of the clear liquid.

"pour it in a cup!" calum demanded.

my response was to take yet another drink, while flipping him off.

"we should do something," i slurred.

"like what?" luke asked, clearly amused.

"i don't know," i replied.

"you're already drunk," taylor noted.

"no, i'm not," i argued, i turned towards calum, "cal?"

"yes?"

"you know you're my best friend, right?"

"yes, michael," he laughed.

"okay, good," i said.

i attempted to get up, since my butt was numb from sitting so long, but i fell instead.

"you good, bro?" luke asked.

i didn't even bother answering, and instead layed on my back, laughing.

"who is that?" taylor asked.

"who is who? i'm michael," i replied, not even bothering to sit up and open my eyes.

"michael clifford!" i heard a voice yell

oh, shit.

i sat up and looked behind me, and sure enough, katie was making her way towards us.

"what do you want?" i asked.

"i want to know why you're with other girls, michael," she whined.

"i'm not," i said.

"then who is she?!" katie yelled, pointing to taylor.

"oh," i began, "she's my, i don't know."

"i'm his new girlfriend," taylor chimed in.

"are you serious?!" katie questioned.

"mhm," i replied, not completely paying attention.

"now, if you're done throwing a fit, we were kind of in the middle of something," taylor said.

"like what?" katie asked.

"something i'm sure you wouldn't want to see anyways," taylor continued.

"oh, but i do," katie said, clearly trying to make it seem like she wasn't hurt.

"okaaaaaaay," taylor said, before moving so she was now stradling me, before i even had time to respond she had both arms wrapped around my neck, and was leaning forward.

what the hell.

"i hate you, michael!" katie yelled, before turning around and walking away.

taylor laughed, getting off of me, "and that's how you handle that."
