"so," i began, as we pulled into the parking lot of the apartment complex, "did you have fun?"

taylor put her hand to her chin and pretended to be deep in thought, "i mean, it was alright..."

"just alright?" i smirked, getting out of the car and shutting the door behind me.

"yes," she smiled.

"hmm, guess i'll have to do better next time."

she looked towards me, eyebrows raised, "next time?"

"that's what i said."

"next time as in we're doing this again?"

"not if you keep asking all these damn questions," i responded, rolling my eyes and holding the door open so she could walk into the building.

she mumbled a thanks and i nodded in response.

we rode the elevator and walked to her apartment door in silence.

"well, thank you for today," she said, with a small smile.

"yeah, no problem," i replied.

we stood in silence for a couple minutes before she finally spoke again, "so yeah, i think calums down at ashtons."

"i'll see you later, yeah?" i asked, giving her an awkward one arm hug, which she returned.

"yeah, text me or whatever, loser," she rolled her eyes, unlocking her door and walking inside.

i didn't really feel like socializing so instead, i walked back down to calums car and texted him to let him know i was ready to go.

after a few moments i heard the familiar voice, "bro, how'd it go?!"

"honestly, it was a fail," i laughed, "but we had fun," i admitted, getting into the front seat.

calum did the same, "do you like her?"

"don't be dumb," i rolled my eyes.
