Party Time Pt 2

John and Jordan

I got a message from John in the middle of the night.

John: Hey

John: You awake?

I groggily turn over and pick up my phone to see why it was going off and see the messages once my eyes adjust to the brightness of the screen.

Jordan: No, why

John: Did u wanna go out sometime tomorrow?

Jordan: You couldn't wait until morning to ask this?

John: I couldnt sleep bc I was thinking about last time we hung out

Jordan: If I say yes will you go to sleep?

John: Probably yeah

Jordan: Then yes we can hang out tomorrow, now go to bed its 2 in the morning

I set my phone down and hear it go off again, I shake my head and roll over and try to get back to sleep.

I eventually wake up around 8. I stretch and tiredly get out of bed and flop down on the couch. I start scrolling on my phone.

I get startled by a knock on the door, I look down and find my phone on the floor, 'Must've fallen asleep again...'

I put on a hoodie and go to the door to see who it is.

John greets me with a smile, "Hey! Wasn't sure if you had seen my messages or not so I thought I'd stop by."

I look down at my phone and see that he sent several messages asking about today, "Yeah sorry I missed those, I fell asleep."

He chuckles, "I can tell... Mind if I come in?" He says as he steps into my dorm.

"Go ahead," I say in a slight chuckle as he walks past me. He sits down on the couch and groans.

He looks over at me, "So, what did you wanna do?"

"I was thinking we could go to that bakery that just opened up down the street," I tell him.

"That sounds good, I'll wait outside while you get some actual clothes on," He chuckles and stands up.

I look at him slightly confused and look down at my outfit.
