It has been sixteen years since my classmates and I graduated from Babyls. Throughout the years, we have all fulfilled our dreams and started families.

Lied is now married to Elizabetta; they have an 11-year-old named Ella and a 12-year-old named Lucas. Azz Azz is married to Clara; they have two daughters, Amora, 14 years old, and Carla, 9 years old, and then an adopted daughter, Luisa, 14.

Kerori is married to Sabnock; they, too, possess twin daughters, Emma and Gemma. Some of us married outside of school, while others were single and remained free. I got married to our homeroom teacher, Kalego, and we have a beautiful 14-year-old daughter by the name of Charlotte.

Although she is 14 years old, her existence has been a secret so far to keep her safe from potential threats since she is the only heir to my throne, the demon king. We let only a few people we could rely on know about Charlotte: Grandpa Sully, Opera, Balam-sensei, Master Bachiko, Ameri, and her father, Mr. Henri. They have all proved their loyalty and devotion to protecting her thus far.

But as Charlotte got older, her desire for school and friends from outside our carefully selected circle grew increasingly difficult to ignore. We knew that should anything ever happen and we not be there for her, keeping her existence a secret would not be enough.

After much deliberation, we agreed that the best solution was to let her go to Babyls. Kalego was initially against it, but her serious plea finally convinced him. She said that she wanted to experience life in school and make friends other than from our circle.

So, Kalego grudgingly agreed with a condition: Charlotte should attend classes he would handle that year. Delighted, Charlotte thanked him profusely.

It had been some weeks since the decision, and today was to be her first day at school. Charlotte was equally excited to begin this new chapter of their lives, with her friends Amora and Luisa in her company. And so they entered the schoolyard, trying not to draw much attention.

The students didn't know who they were, but some of the older teachers who knew Iruma when he was a student started to take notice of how Charlotte looked like him. And just as everyone was seated, Chairdemon Sullivan went on stage for the entrance ceremony.

His speech of welcome took an unexpectedly dark turn as he spoke of his great-granddaughter and her friends, flipping to their picture preemptively, before they came into the school. Charlotte felt her face flush beet red-her secret was out. She hunched down, attempting to hide from view, but it was for naught; students continued to stare.

The announcement by Chairdemon Sullivan that Charlotte was going to make a speech was quickly annulled as Kalego bustled to her side, much to her relief. The proceedings quickly drew to a close, and Charlotte and her friends beat a hasty retreat.

They did not get farther than the auditorium before being yanked into a staff lounge by a person unfamiliar to any of them. Confusion gave way to familiarity as they recognized some of the faces of teachers standing: Kalego and Balam. Kalego explained that the other teachers were some of those who had taught their parents and were longing to meet them, the children.

As Charlotte and her friends began answering questions, she noticed a teacher sporting light brown eyes and sandy hair with white horns, teasing her father. A tense mood was in the air, yet Kalego stood protectively.
