Kalego x Iruma One Shots

His true Origin

(I've added something in the end of the story which is the reason why I unpublished it)

All of the demons knew their king as playful and carefree.

They also see him as the demon who seems not to be serious about his position; that kind of persona that he has is always stuck in their minds.

But....

What they don't know is that that playful and carefree persona of his was just an act behind it; he was in pain.

Not the thirteen crown, not Poro, not even Sullivan knows

That his only beloved son was away from him.

The most painful decision that he has made is to make his only son be sent to another world that was known as Earth, where human beings lived.

To be able for his son to live among humans, he has decided to conceal his power and the appearance that would make you look like a demon, though he has made it only temporarily where it would be released if his son has lived in the netherworld and has felt loved and accepted.

It might be a painful decision for him to make, but he was left with no choice but to do it, knowing that being his son meant that he would face grave dangers when the demons found out about his existence.

He could still remember when he gave his son away.

A human couple that couldn't bear a child took his son away from him.

He wanted to take everything back, but he knew that it would be best for his son if he was away from him and away from the netherworld.

At least he knew that his son would be safe from harm.

Or so he thought.

He didn't know that the couple that he gave his son and trusted to protect him were the same people who would bring him into danger and would manage to bring him back to the netherworld.

14 years have already passed, and the son of demon king Delkira has already grown into a fine young man.

He was kind and helpful to people, no matter what their intentions were.

Well, it was a good trait that many saw in him.

But the thing that is not good about him is that he is timid enough to not say no to everyone who asks him a favor.

Because of the timidity that he has, people are taking advantage of him.

Even his parents have been using him for their own desire to have the lazy life that they have always dreamed of.

They gave him various jobs, no matter if they were legal or not.

He wanted to refuse the jobs that he had been receiving, but he couldn't bring himself to say no to them.

He thought that his parents would at least care for him by not giving him the worst jobs or doing the worst thing that he ever knew.

But he was wrong; his parents have sold him to an old demon who is wealthy and has one of the highest positions in the world that you never imagined existed.

He only discovered his parents deed by the time the said demon picked him up from his work in a fishing boat, where he was panicking about what he was supposed to do with all the fish that had been dropping out of their cages, fearing that his boss would deduct his pay if they found out that it was damaged.

To be honest, it doesn't matter to him anymore because he was already happy and content with the life he has now with his grandfather and his friends.

As it had been almost a year now since his grandfather adopted him as his grandson, when he was here, he felt he was in the home where he had been longing for so long. It was a strange feeling knowing that he was born as a human, as it was impossible for him to be in there when he was younger.

Days have passed, and there is a strange feeling that he started to feel a while ago in his body-it was something that he had never felt before.

The feeling that there is something that wanted to come out of being sealed for so many years
He has tried to discover the meaning of the feeling that he has, but no matter how many books or how many demons he asked about his condition, no one could give him the answer that he truly needed.

Days passed, and the feeling that he had was still there, as it was turning to pain, but he knew that he needed to hide that pain that he has, as there is a traditional annual event that is currently happening. This event has been around for so many years that it has become the most-awaited event in the three schools, the same school that was under the care of the three greats that have come together so they can compete with each other in many different fields.

In the said event, all of the teachers and students in all schools would be present, but the most important thing is that the entire thirteen crowns would also be present.

He knew that he shouldn't be showing any signs that he is in pain, knowing that his friends would be worried about him if they discovered he lied to them, saying that he was fine days before the event.

He needed them to show everything that they could without him holding them back if they knew that he was in pain.

It was already his turn, as he started to walk to the center of the open ground, preparing himself for his turn while he was bearing the pain that he had.

Once he reached the center of the open ground, when he was supposed to start on what he was to do, he started to feel it again, but this time it was worse than before.

He had tried so hard to fight the pain, but it was too great for him to contain it anymore, as he had revealed his true feelings to the demons around him.

He fell to the ground as he felt that there was something coming out of his body, but he couldn't determine what it was.

There is a voice calling for his name; he wanted to reply, but the pain is winning over him.

The pain has lasted for a few minutes until suddenly there is a light that is coming from Iruma, which blinds everyone who is present and makes them wonder what is happening to him.

Because of the light, the demons who are closed started to worry more.

The light lasted for a few minutes before it suddenly stopped.

Those who are present have started to be able to see everything so clearly again without the interference of the light that has been shining out from Iruma.

One by one, the demons have started to notice
There was something that changed Iruma's appearance.

His hair has turned a dark violet as horns have appeared in his head, and his height has also increased, as it can be compared to Poro, the loyal servant of the demon king, whose height is 10'6, but still, Iruma was a little bit taller than him. (Yeah, Poro is male; I searched for it.)

Many have not recognized it due to how long it has been since the disappearance of their king, but they knew... The three greats knew that features everywhere.

They knew that it was similar to their missing King's appearance, as they were aware that it wasn't a coincidence to have similar features as him.

The two of the three greats have approached him, asking him if there's a possibility that he is connected to their missing demon king, but Iruma himself couldn't say anything to them as he was also confused, just like them.

When he was supposed to say it to them, there was someone who interrupted him.

...it was the demon king himself.

Everyone who was present was left dumbfounded by what they had seen; their king had come back to them after being away for almost a century.

The silence was winning over as the demon king approached where Iruma was.

Once he had finally approached him, he kneeled down before him and said, "I have finally met you again...my son."

Because of what the demon king said to Iruma, all the demons who were present were shocked by the time they heard it.

This also caused all of the thirteen crowns to gather where their king was sitting and ask him questions.

They've asked him how Iruma became his child, why he kept him a secret, and who was the possible spouse who gave birth to him.

Delkira then revealed that he secretly has a child with a demoness that he fell in love with a long time ago, which was kept a secret from the world, fearing that the demons might harm them if they discovered their existence.

Because of the confession that Delkira has made, it has made his loyal servants, along with the thirteenth crown, feel hurt that their king doesn't trust them enough to tell his son and wife's existence.

Despite the feeling that they have, they are still happy that their king has come back to them, along with the possible heir to the throne.

After discussing the king's sudden disappearance, he then approached one particular demon, which is...Kalego

The king looked into his eyes as if he were looking into every single fragment of his soul.

Everyone who was present was so confused about why he was doing that to the guard dog of the Bablys, but then the members of the Babyls suddenly remembered some particular information.

...It was that he and Iruma were in a relationship.

That time, they knew Kalego would experience another hardship just to prove his love and intention for Iruma.
